About Me:

I am a former collegiate athlete and Sports Performance Coach passionate about helping athletes grow stronger physically and mentally through purposeful training, proper technique, consistency, and real connection. My coaching focuses on building confidence, improving performance, preventing injuries, and developing disciplined athletes who love the process and compete with grit both on and off the court.

How I can help you improve your game:

I help athletes improve their game by focusing on movement quality, strength, speed, confidence, technique, and mental toughness. Through individualized coaching, accountability, and purposeful training, I work to help athletes move more efficiently, prevent injuries, compete with confidence, and build skills that translate directly into stronger performance during competition.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A typical training session with me is high-energy, purposeful, and athlete-focused. Sessions usually begin with mobility, activation, and movement prep to build proper form and help prevent injuries. From there, we focus on speed, agility, strength, technique, and sport-specific movements tailored to the athlete’s goals and needs. I coach with a strong emphasis on consistency, confidence, mental toughness, and attention to detail so athletes not only work hard, but also understand why technique and movement quality matter for long-term success.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I am a former collegiate all-conference volleyball player and current Director of Sports Performance with 16 years of volleyball coaching experience and a passion for developing confident, resilient athletes. I was a 3-year high school team captain and MVP, and my coaching career has included taking high school volleyball teams to championship playoffs every season while winning region titles six times. In club volleyball, my teams have earned 16 Gold and Silver bracket finishes over the years.

Beyond volleyball, I coached youth soccer, cheer, and flag football for five years while also developing a mental performance program for athletes that is still being used today. During nine years of high school coaching, our program remained injury-free through an emphasis on proper movement, strength development, recovery, and technique.

As a Sports Performance Director, I oversee programming, training systems, and athlete development sessions focused on speed, agility, strength, injury prevention, nutrition accountability, and mental toughness. I have trained athletes across multiple sports including volleyball, softball, track and field, ice skating, and men’s volleyball while also helping athletes connect with college coaches and recruiting opportunities.

I have also created sports nutrition coaching programs and helped athletes achieve life-changing goals, including training an athlete for the Navy through weight loss, strength development, endurance training, and preparation to successfully excel through basic training.

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach I ever had was my camp coach in high school, who has now become a close friend and advisor. She had a way of seeing both my strengths and weaknesses and never allowed me to settle for less than my potential. She took the time to correct movement, challenge my mindset, and push me to overcome the things holding me back.

She taught me not to get trapped in my own head or compare myself to those around me, but instead to focus on being a strong teammate who could inspire others even during difficult moments. One of the greatest lessons she taught me was to never let frustration control my body language or attitude, but instead to channel it into greater focus for the next play, the next point, and the next opportunity.

She coached with a strong presence, consistency, and belief in her athletes, and that approach continues to shape the way I coach and lead athletes today.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

Parents and athletes should know that I care deeply about developing the whole athlete — not just performance, but confidence, discipline, mental toughness, and long-term health. I believe strong technique, purposeful training, consistency, and positive accountability create athletes who not only perform better, but also grow into stronger leaders and teammates.

I coach with energy, honesty, and connection, while creating an environment where athletes are challenged, supported, and encouraged to push beyond what they thought they were capable of. I want athletes to love the process, trust the work, and leave training stronger physically and mentally than when they arrived.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

  • Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.

AU was created by former college and pro athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process + background check, so you can trust you're training with the best.
