I believe that 90% of success in sports comes down to mental toughness. That’s what separates those who succeed from those who don’t. When adversity hits, you need the mindset and resilience to push through. My training focuses on building that mental edge along with strong fundamentals.
As a former forward and center, I specialize in working with players in those positions. In high school, I primarily played center, while in college, I played both forward and center interchangeably. I emphasize footwork, touch around the basket, and overall versatility. Just because you’re a post player doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have solid handles or a reliable shot. I focus on developing well-rounded, fundamentally sound athletes who can adapt and excel.
I pay close attention to the small details—the things that make a real difference in a player’s game. Perfecting the fundamentals is key, and I ensure that every player I train has the skills, confidence, and mental toughness to take their game to the next level.
While I don’t have an official coaching background, I’ve been immersed in the game of basketball since I was five years old. My father played, and from an early age, I developed a deep love and understanding of the sport. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to give back through various camps—both at my collegiate program and during high school—where I helped teach and develop young athletes who would go on to play at the high school level. Though I haven’t formally coached at higher levels yet, I’ve consistently been in structured environments where I’ve led and instructed younger players. My basketball IQ has always been one of my strongest traits, and I believe that translates into effective coaching. I understand the game at a high level, particularly for forwards and centers, and I’m committed to helping players develop their skills, confidence, and mental toughness to elevate their game.
While I had the privilege of learning from several great coaches throughout my career, my favorite coach was my AAU coach, George Quintero. He is still a well-respected name in the basketball world and currently coaches for Cal Storm. His knowledge of the game, attention to detail, and passion for developing players had a huge impact on me. The lessons I learned from him, both on and off the court, have stuck with me and continue to influence how I approach the game today.
I have a fire that burns crazy for the game of basketball. This sport has been my life for as long as I can remember, and I care deeply about sharing what I’ve learned with the next generation. If there’s a young athlete out there with the drive to reach the next level, I promise I will do everything I can to help them get there.
I believe in development—not just as an athlete, but as a well-rounded person. The right foundation, both on and off the court, is what sets great players apart. My goal is to equip every athlete I work with with the best tools possible to compete at the highest level, whatever their personal goals may be.
With your athlete in my hands, you can trust that I will be fully committed to their growth. I’ll share everything I’ve learned from my own journey—from fundamentals to strategy to the mindset needed to succeed. I’m here to help them develop into the best version of themselves, both as players and as people.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
