Athletic Background
Summary of Career and Accomplishments
Former professional basketball player with experience both professionally and at the collegiate level. I played in the NBL1 for the West Adelaide Bearcats in Australia and also competed in Luxembourg's National 2 Division. In addition I had the honor of playing college basketball at Malone University, where I was named 1st Team All-GMAC in my senior year.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
The best coach I ever had was my high school coach during my junior year. I had recently transferred schools with the sole purpose of pursuing the opportunity to play the game I love. Although Coach Art did not know me prior to my transfer, he gave me a chance like no other coach had before. From the moment I stepped onto the court with him, he believed in me. We put in countless hours of work together during the summer of 2012, and every session was designed not only to ensure my success in my first varsity season but to lay the foundation for my entire basketball career.
One of the most valuable lessons Coach Art instilled in me was the importance of working hard every single day to perfect your craft. He taught me that success requires consistent effort and dedication. What's a dream if you're not willing to put in the work to achieve it?
Though I only played one year under Coach Art, that year proved to be transformative. It opened doors that I had never imagined a year earlier. The confidence and belief he showed in me as a 16-year-old shaped my basketball journey and ultimately played a key role in my receiving a full scholarship to play at the collegiate level and later pursuing a professional career. His belief in me not only boosted my confidence but set the stage for the achievements that followed.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
Parents and athletes should know that it has always been my goal to help develop the next generation of basketball players. During my time playing in Australia, I regularly trained young athletes, which sparked my passion for becoming a basketball trainer once my playing career came to an end. Seeing the improvement in the players as they applied the skills and techniques I taught them was incredibly rewarding. Their progress on the court reinforced my desire to stay involved in the game and continue helping players reach their full potential. I am committed to making a positive impact on every athlete I work with, guiding them toward success both on and off the court.
