Intentionally developing the body, mind, and character to reach full potential.
As a former Division 1 Track and Field/Cross Country Athlete, I am very aware of the level of pressure that today's athletes face, whether these pressures come with adversity or with success. During my time as an athlete, I learned the value of building my own support system of mentors and coaches who helped me unlock a whole new realm of potential, all within my own mind. As a graduate student with an educational focus on sport psychology and elite human performance, as well as someone in the process of pursuing my CMPC certification, I have a special passion for helping athletes of all sports sharpen their mental game and realize their own potential, both within and outside of their sport.
With prior experience as a high-level student-athlete myself, I have a heightened awareness of the pressures and struggles many athletes face when trying to excel in their sport. I bring experiential knowledge of high school and collegiate athletics, as well as knowledge of sport psychology and mental performance training from my current academic and professional pursuits. I believe in helping athletes use targeted mental skills training techniques to gain more self-confidence, find their ideal mental state during practices and competitions, and ultimately become more adept in using mental skills training on their own in a real-world context.
I offer mental performance sessions for athletes of all sports, as well as additional physical training sessions/training plans for track and field/cross country athletes.
If you choose to work with me on mental performance, we will first address your situation, set some goals, and work together to create a mental skills training plan that is specific to you. As we work through our sessions, we may practice tactics such as imagery, identification of controllables/uncontrollables, goal setting, visualization, or mindfulness. What we choose to work on will be dependent on your goals and the areas you want to see growth in mentally! This will also be a time where I can mentor you and provide guidance in areas where you may be struggling mentally in your sport.
If you are a track and field/XC athlete who wants to work with me on physical training, we can either meet virtually to discuss your training/allow me to create a training plan you can follow on your own, or we can meet at either of the two locations I offer on my profile to work through some workouts together. If we choose to meet in person, our first session will most likely occur virtually so that we can spend time talking and setting up a game plan (I am also willing to do this in person if you are local to the Clemson area). I specialize in distance running, so my coaching expertise is best suited for events that are 800 meters or longer. After we develop a plan for you, we can meet as frequently as you would like to work through speed workouts, interval training, long runs, and core circuits.

The best coach I ever had was my high school cross country/distance track coach. He saw the value in not only training to excel physically, but also mentally, both inside and outside of a sporting context. He taught me the value of controlling what I can control, and not wasting energy worrying about the rest of it. This mentally has stuck with me years after being a competitive runner. This coach is also the reason why I am still passionate about distance running today. He taught me to love my sport, and not see it as a burden or an extra stressor, even when adversity arose. This coach created in me a passion to pour out my own wisdom, knowledge, and experiences to other athletes, and ultimately motivated me to pursue my passion for sport psychology and mental performance because of his emphasis on it during the time I spent training with him.
I am a 22 year old current Master's student in the process of earning hours toward my CMPC, and I also coach Reformer Pilates. My schedule is very flexible, and shouldn't stray too much from the availability on my profile. Since I am working toward achieving my CMPC hours, mental performance clients will take priority over track and field coaching clients, but don't be afraid to reach out if you are seeking track and field specific coaching - I love the sport and want to develop a client base here as well.
For my mental performance clients: all sports are welcome!
For my track and field/XC clients: I will take on athletes competing in races 800 meters or longer, since this is where most of my prior experience lies.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.
