I am a competitive powerlifter, and experience Sports Performance coach. For me training is about improving all qualities - physical, mental, and emotional to bring about the best you.
I believe I am able to offer coaching that you will not find elsewhere. I have had almost a decade of success in improving athletes of all levels. I am obsessive in finding what you need to make you better and believe in making sure you get every bit of success you want.
We do this together by testing, assessing results, making a plan, and retesting. Not just giving you random hard workouts and guess work.
This depends on the day and your needs as an athlete. However, as I said above the starting point is always getting you in and providing some testing whether its jump height, speed, or weights to get an idea of what we need to improve.
In general the structure of the workout will go from most demanding or most important to least. In majority of cases that means after a warmup we are sprinting, jumping, throwing or doing plyometrics of some sort. Then we will add in some form of power work whether that is olympic lifts, speed squats, medball throws or some other exercise - the goal is to move fast with load. From this point we do some strength specific work where we load an appropriate amount of weight and execute some lift that is relevant to your goals and sport. Following this we finish with accessory work including core that wraps up your weak points. Time permitting we then can do conditioning or I give you a conditioning plan.
My career has taken me through various settings including elite MLS development to basic middle school general physical education to division 1 to small college athletes. In all settings my most important accomplishment was athletes telling me I made them feel seen and valued.
The best coach I had was my friend's dad. He did not know anything about soccer but wanted to provide a fun experience for his son and his friends. More coaches should look to being a coach who makes athletes feel valued rather than just numbers on the sheet.
I am a patient coach who wants to work with all athletes. I am demanding and like structure but only enough that meets the athlete where they are. A 6th grader should not receive the same work or demands as a college athlete - their mind and body is not prepared for that. Furthermore, I view my work with your child as an investment in the long term. My goal is to provide them with something they can take with them whether that is simply squat technique, or self-confidence the goal is to leave them better than when they started.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
