Get to know Freddie

I help young athletes build unshakable confidence and perform under pressure.

I help young athletes build the confidence, resilience, self-trust, and mental skills they need to perform at their best—in sports and in life. My background gives me a unique perspective on the challenges young athletes face. I’ve worked as a teacher, athletic coach, Certified Athletic Trainer, Registered Nurse, and mindset coach, including six years with the Arizona Cardinals and experience in NFL Europe. Today, I combine more than 25 years of experience in human performance with mindset coaching, NLP, emotional regulation, and behavioral change to help young athletes handle pressure, overcome fear and self-doubt, recover from mistakes, and develop a stronger relationship with themselves. My goal isn’t simply to create better athletes. It’s to help develop confident, resilient young people who have the tools to succeed long after the game is over.

About me

As a parent, you can see the potential in your child—sometimes even when they can’t see it in themselves.

You know they have the ability. But maybe confidence, fear of failure, overthinking, pressure, or one bad play keeps getting in the way of what they’re capable of.

That’s where I can help.

I’ve spent more than 25 years in sports, healthcare, coaching, and human performance—from teaching and coaching high school athletes to working with professional athletes in NFL Europe and spending six years with the Arizona Cardinals.

What I’ve learned is that talent alone is never enough.

Young athletes need to learn how to trust themselves, manage their emotions, respond to mistakes, handle pressure, and keep going when things don’t go their way.

Today, I specialize in helping young athletes build those skills.

I help them develop confidence, self-trust, focus, emotional control, resilience, and a healthier relationship with both success and failure.

Because my goal isn’t simply to help your child become a better athlete.

It’s to help them become a confident, resilient young person who knows how to handle pressure, overcome adversity, and believe in themselves—skills they’ll carry long after their playing days are over.

I train both sides of performance: the BODY and the MIND.

Your child may already have the physical ability—but confidence, fear of failure, overthinking, frustration, or difficulty responding to mistakes can keep them from performing at their potential.

I combine athletic training with mindset and mental performance coaching to develop the complete athlete.

We work on strength, movement, conditioning, injury prevention, and athletic performance while also developing confidence, focus, emotional control, resilience, positive self-talk, and the ability to perform under pressure.

The goal isn’t just a stronger athlete.

It’s a young person who trusts themselves when the game gets hard.

Every session trains the body AND the mind.

We begin with movement preparation and a quick mindset check-in: What are we working on today? Confidence? Focus? Responding to mistakes? Handling pressure?

Then we move into an individualized physical workout focused on strength, mobility, coordination, conditioning, injury prevention, and the demands of the athlete’s sport.

But the mindset work doesn’t stop when the workout begins.

I intentionally use physical challenges to teach athletes how to stay composed when they’re tired, reset after mistakes, control their self-talk, manage frustration, stay present, and keep competing when things become uncomfortable.

We finish by identifying what they learned and giving them something specific to practice before our next session.

We’re not just building stronger athletes.

We’re building confidence, resilience, discipline, and self-trust through reps.

I bring more than 25 years of experience in athletics, healthcare, education, coaching, and human performance.

My career has taken me from serving as a Head Athletic Trainer in professional basketball, hockey, and NFL Europe to spending six years with the Arizona Cardinals, where I worked with elite athletes in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and return-to-play.

I’ve also worked directly with young athletes as a high school teacher, athletic trainer, and coach in football, basketball, and track.

Today, I combine that experience with my training in mindset, behavioral change, emotional regulation, and human performance to help young athletes develop both physically and mentally.

My greatest accomplishment isn’t the professional teams I’ve worked with—it’s using everything I’ve learned to help the next generation become stronger, more confident, resilient, and prepared for both sports and life.

Coach Taylor was the best coach I ever had as a player! He truly taught me the right way to play basketball and how to always give my best effort.

As a parent, I know you want more than athletic success for your child. You want them to become confident, resilient, disciplined, and capable of handling adversity.

That’s my goal too.

I’m not here to add more pressure. I’m here to give your child tools—to build confidence, trust themselves, manage their emotions, respond to mistakes, and learn how to perform when things get difficult.

We’ll train the body, but we’ll also train the person inside the athlete.

Wins, losses, playing time, and sports eventually end. The confidence, resilience, discipline, and self-trust we build can stay with them for life.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

  • Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.
