Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
The best coach I have ever had was my hockey coach in my junior and senior year of high-school. My team won back to back state championships and qualified for nationals twice. Coach "Frenchie", however, was not a great coach because we won. Frenchie was a great coach because he made us a family and believed in each and every one of us.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
I preach the same message as coach Frenchie: work as a team and grow together. That is especially true of the relationship between the athlete and mental performance coach. I hope to help all of my clients become the best athletes and people they can be.

Coaching Background

Summary of Coaching Background
My coaching background is in youth ice hockey and basketball, but my extensive soccer training and playing has prepared me to transfer these skills. I worked extensively developing travel hockey players for the Florida Jr Panthers, and work diligently with coaches of all sports on mental performance improvement methods.
How can you help someone improve their game?
Having the right motivation to succeed, and the right people around you to support you. Of course an elite athlete must be disciplined and have a good work ethic, but without the right motivation and support, they are not sustainable.
What does a typical training session look like?
Mental Performance: brief consultation, discussion of goals, previous training/experience, utilization of STROOP tasks and other cognition loading exercises, mindset management, education, reflection, feedback.
