Personalized programs that help athletes succeed and have fun while doing so!

As a former athlete and all around sports lover, I know how difficult the sport we love the most can be on not only our bodies, but also our minds. That's where I come in! Together, we will look at mental performance and sport psychology theories and turn them into practical tools that you can actually use in your sport. Through personalized programs, I help athletes and coaches build confidence, focus, and resilience so they can perform at their best while still enjoying the game. My goal is to bridge the gap between theory and practice to support both success and a lasting love of sport. 🧠🏅

About Me:

Former Division III thrower and passionate Philly sports fan! I hold a BS in Health and Exercise Physiology from Ursinus College and a MS in Exercise and Sport Science with a concentration in Sport and Exercise Psychology from West Chester University. I am in the process of becoming a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP).

I have experience working on mental skills and performance programs with individual athletes and teams at the youth, middle school, and collegiate (Divisions II and III) level. I have worked with gymnastics, swimmers, wrestlers, and field hockey athletes. I have also worked on programming and resources for coaches and am passionate about helping coaches advance their own mental game! I am also certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED and SafeSport Trained.

How I can help you improve your game:

Together, we will explore theories related to exercise science, mental performance, and sport and general psychology to create a personalized program plan that helps you enhance athletic or coaching performance while also emphasizing the most important part of why many of us began playing sports-having fun! We will work together through flexible sessions that help put these theories into practice so that you can implement them into athletic practices and competitions to help enhance overall performance.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Every athlete is different, as is every training session! Typically, sessions last anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour and include mixed methods of practice including imagery and visualization practices, mindfulness activities, breathing techniques, scripting exercises, and more.

Career summary and accomplishments:

E. Jerry Brooks Academic Excellence in Sports Award Recipient - 2019

Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll - 2021, 2022, 2023

Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Team - 2022

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach I ever had is the one that introduced me to the field! He gave every team member a book to help us learn more about the mental side of sports and activities to help us individually grow in this area.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I am here for you! I know that my mentions of theories can sound intimidating and that taking the steps towards asking for help with the mental side of sports can be extremely difficult, but know that you are not alone in this journey and that you will only come out of it stronger on the other side.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

  • Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.

  • Easy rescheduling — Cancel or reschedule up to 4 hours before a lesson, no questions asked.

  • Coach no-shows — You'll be fully credited and we'll help you find a replacement.

  • Flexible credits — Unused lessons last 12 months and can be used with any coach on the platform.
