Athletic Background

Summary of Career and Accomplishments
I am a strength/conditioning and speed/agility coach and I have been working with students/ athletes for the past 10 years. I have a passion and vision of seeing our young athletes perform at elite levels and reach excellence in athletics. Under my training and direction, many student athletes have excelled in their sports objective. These include physical development, improved strength, conditioning, speed, mental, and emotional development. I have provided assistance to student athletes in football, basketball, soccer, baseball, track and swimming. My Certifications are as followed: Speed and Explosion Certification since 2016. This certification focuses on individual and team sport program design, training, testing and evaluation for speed, explosion ,strength and conditioning. CPR Certification Certified Personal Trainer
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
The best coach I’ve ever had was a personal trainer from Clemson. He worked with me at the end of my high school season, and it made me realize how much better I could’ve been with the help of a professional trainer sooner. It was one of the primary reasons I decided to become a trainer for young athletes.
What should athletes and parents know about you?

Coaching Background

Summary of Coaching Background
I have provided assistance to student athletes in football, basketball, soccer, baseball, track and swimming. I have been able to assist numerous students in meeting their conditioning needs to advance to college level sports. From May, 2022 to the present, I have been providing assistance to Cheraw's JV and Varsity girls basketball teams focusing on strength, conditioning, speed and agility. They have shown great improvement since implementing my programs. I have included the Boys Varsity Basketball Team to my training program and expect to see the same level of improvement in their performance. For the past year I have contracted with Xtra Innings Baseball Facility, in Chesterfield, SC to provide strength and conditioning speed/agility program designs for students ranging in age from 7-18. The results have been outstanding. My Certifications are as followed: Speed and Explosion Certification since 2016. This certification focuses on individual and team sport program design, training, testing and evaluation for speed, explosion ,strength and conditioning. CPR Certification Certified Personal Trainer
How can you help someone improve their game?
I can help athletes improve their game by first helping them develop their bodies physically for whatever sport or position they play. I focus on developing and improving strength, conditioning, speed, agility, explosion, quickness, and reaction time. All of these components are essential for an athlete in any sport, and will help any athlete elevate their performance.
What does a typical training session look like?
A typical training session lasts for an hour. The first 40-45 minutes is focused on strength training. The last 15-20 minutes is focused on speed, agility, explosion, and reaction training.
