Get to know Coach Keith

About Me:

Started running in high school during my sophomore year and after that I came alive being filled with a new thrill. I was pick up for my team out of P.E at Lyons Township High School after starting I would go on to run for fun and compete in my first 5k that summer coming in 3rd for my age group. Going into my junior year I’d start my first season of XC which would push me into the runner I am today running races throughout the year and enjoying the serenity of healthy habits.

How I can help you improve your game:

Creating a strong ability for dedication and helping those being coached reach new levels through belief in not giving up. At my current place I work I spend a lot of time being a sense of pure encouragement and I believe a powerful source of inspiration and motivation I use old quotes and even come up with my own to keep a person motivated even when things get tough.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Target what the days goal is or even the end goal of time together and start with a warm up to get us moving. After talk more on what we’re looking to improve then implement small but effective steps to enhance the performance of the area chosen to focus on. Once started breaking down sessions to allow each part of the dedicated workout its growth then nearing the final time putting everything together to create the form and end with rest, stretching and words of acknowledgement for the hard work that was shown.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I’ve only been a swim instructor for a year now but saying so there’s been much growth in the kids and even adults I’ve taught creating healthy swimmers or as my work place would say “Safer Swimmers”. I’ve learned to enjoy building the confidence of others and watch them progress into what they’re looking to be an then more I only hope to continue in the field.

Best coach I ever had:

First is my Coach Danner my running coach at Lyons Township great speaker for team and self development second would be my Coach Harris who was more the mentor encouraging through powerful talks and speeches individually or as a team and last which flopped around they’re be first would be my pop warner football coaches for the Chicago jokers all very inspirational people who taught dignity and integrity but also helped expand the love of sportsmanship

What athletes and parents should know about me:

Very very enthusiastic being with an incredible amount of energy. I’m a man of God and use his word to encourage me and even at my current job I used it to build the confidence of those who I teach and instruct to swim. Source of motivation for those looking to go further through my daily life I find myself talking and sharing with people things that allow a higher thinking in life I love seeing others uplifted and will share what Evers needed to push for healthy courage. “Hope in the Lord be of Good courage and he shall strengthen your heart,

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
