I am a both a sport coach and strength & conditioning coach who is a dedicated lifelong learner and continually strives to learn, grow and develop. My coaching is built around effective communication and relationships built on trust.
I have been a collegiate sport coach and Director of Strength & Conditioning and have worked with a range of athletes including baseball, softball and football players as well as track & field and combat sports athletes.
Lastly, I hold a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist Certification through the National Strength & Conditioning Association and a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I am also currently studying to become a Sports Scientist.
I pride my coaching on effective communication and trust. I am a personable coach. Our time together is not about me, but about you and what you need to be successful. I have worked with athletes at high levels and know how to assess, evaluate and design systems that will maximize our time together so you are progressing, feeling fresh and dominating in competition.
My focus will be to assess your strengths and weaknesses and develop a plan that sets you up to be successful. Whether it is multi-directional speed, deceleration, strength, explosiveness, recovery or proper dieting and nutrition, I will be there to help you every step of the way.
Each day has a particular emphasis for example, max speed, acceleration, strength or power to name a few. A training session will start with addressing any personal deficiencies such as a lack of hamstring flexibility or glute medius weakness followed by a warm-up specific to the emphasis for the training day.
Once the warm-up is concluded, we will get into the meat and potatoes for the day. Lifting days will generally start with plyometric variations related to the core lifts performed on that day (i.e. squats, deadlifts, presses) followed by a core lift which generally focuses on max strength (depending on the age of the athlete/individual). Once the main complex is complete, preceding complexes are composed of accessory movements that emphasize strength and/or hypertrophy.
I tend to group exercises together to form a “complex” that will have a main lift, core exercise, rotator cuff or scapular movement or mobility depending on what the individual needs.
Once the lift or sprint session is finished, I like to wrap things up with a variation of conditioning or energy system development, a cool down, or a form of recovery.
I have been a collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coach and Baseball Coach for nine seasons ranging from the D1 to NAIA levels. During this time, I have developed teams that have made it to the World Series, set single-season records for wins, stolen bases, home run and strikeouts on the pitchers mound.
Throughout my career, I have developed numerous MLB Draft picks and have other former athletes who are currently competing at the professional level.
I also have experience working with football, softball, track & field and combat sports athletes improving their overall speed, agility, strength, explosiveness, power, recovery and nutrition.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
