Hi, I’m Demontae Wilson, a passionate track and field coach with a proven track record of helping athletes achieve remarkable progress. In the 2023-2024 season alone, my teams broke school records and earned state and national recognition. The girls' 4x800 relay team ran 20 seconds faster than the previous year, placing 6th at state with a time of 9:34.91. Our 4x400 relay team claimed 3rd at Adidas Nationals, showcasing young talent with two freshmen and two juniors. I’ve coached athletes to significant personal bests, like A young lady dropping her 800m time from 2:25 as a freshman to 2:13.74 as a junior, earning 3rd at state. Similarly, I guided a young freshman boy from a 54.73 400m in 8th grade to an impressive 50.74 as a freshman in high school, and a Sophomore young male improved his 800m time from 2:08 to 2:02 in just one year with me. I bring the same dedication to every athlete I work with, combining my experience as a collegiate track and field captain, my education in fitness and sports studies, and my expertise in building tailored training plans. Whether you’re chasing personal records, national titles, or simply aiming to become your best self, I’m here to make your goals a reality. Let’s push limits together. How can I help you or your team achieve greatness?

Beginning in High School, I established myself as a state champion, earning titles in the indoor and outdoor 400m, the indoor 4x200m relay, and the indoor and outdoor 4x400m relay. My efforts culminated in being recognized as a Wendy’s High School Heisman recipient, an honor reflecting both my athletic achievements and academic dedication.
Continuing my journey at Lipscomb University, I competed as a sprinter in both indoor and outdoor track from 2019 to 2023. Over five seasons, I developed into a versatile athlete, excelling in individual events like the 100m, 200m, and 400m, as well as team relays, including the 4x100m and 4x400m. My collegiate career was marked by consistent improvement and numerous accolades, including multiple ASUN All-Conference honors and a selection to the ASUN All-Academic Team in 2021. These accomplishments highlight my ability to balance high-level athletic performance with academic responsibilities. Throughout my career at Lipscomb, I achieved several personal milestones. I recorded personal bests of 10.93 in the 100m, 21.88 in the 200m, and 47.94 in the 400m. These performances earned me top finishes at prestigious meets like the ASUN Outdoor Championship, where I placed fourth in the 400m finals. As part of the 4x400m relay team, I helped set a program record of 3:15.24 at the 2022 ASUN Indoor Championship, a testament to my commitment to teamwork and competitive drive.
