I had the opportunity to play a professional sport. That is a dream that a lot of kids have. But most kids not only have the proper resources/coaching. Alot of kids have no idea the work that has to be consistently put in to reach that high level. I help kids not only reach their goals but have confidence in themselves. I take pride in helping athletes walk a little taller because they know they are prepared for whatever it is they want to do.

About Me:

I was a three-sport athlete in both high school and college. I finished my high school career with 2- All District selections in Football, 2 All-District selections and a state bronze medal in Track and Field. I was also a 3 time- All district performer in High school basketball. I finished my collegiate career being an Indoor National qualifier in Triple Jump, collegiate slam dunk champion in basketball and 2-time All- conference performer in football. I ranked top 10 nationally in receptions and yards averaging over 117 yards per game his senior season. After college I participated in the Dixie Gridiron classic an All-Star game which showcased the top collegiate players in all of football. I had workouts with numerous teams of the NFL before ultimately landing with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football league. I played 2 years in Canada and 2 seasons of Arena Football before finishing my professional career in 2014.

How I can help you improve your game:

I help people by paying attention to detail. My training programs are personalized to the athlete. Every athlete is different, So I pay attention to every detail while training. I also come view them play in games to make sure everything we are working on in practice is translating. If not, I try to figure out where the block is and correct it.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A typical session with me is very Intense and informative. The first workout will be a set of drills and test to help me understand where your strengths and areas of improvement are. After that I will write a program specifically based off of what the Athlete requests and what was seen during the initial assessment.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I have been training/coaching for over 11 years. I started training immediately after I retired from professional Football. I have coached football and basketball at the youth, middle school and high school levels. I am currently the Head Speed and Strength Coach at a performance Center is Dallas Texas. I also am a Certified Speed coach at Speed town Express. I have had the pleasure of training all ages starting 5 years old just getting started sports all the way up to adults who are competing in professional sports and or adult recreation Leagues. I received my bachelor's degree in Exercise Science.

Best coach I ever had:

The best coaches in general that I ever had was the Staff at Abilene Chrisitan University. They stayed on me every day. They never allowed me to get lazy or slack off. I didn't understand it at the time. It always just felt like they were picking at me. But I was the biggest, fastest and strongest while in their program.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I am a big believer in hard work. I understand that improving is a never-ending process. There will always be something that you can improve on. My job is to help you build confidence, by speaking life into the athlete and also pushing them past their level of comfortability and help them meet and surpass whatever goals they have.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.

Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.
