Played sports my whole life (soccer, baseball, basketball, wrestling). Didn’t break records and win star titles, but always a competitor. Went to the military, fell in love with lifting weights now I’m power lifting.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
Quentin White, my coach now. Great man, he knows how to relate to everyone. He doesn’t let you quit, and he is a down to earth guy that doesn’t sugar coat anything.

Coaching Background
Summary of Coaching Background
I’ve never officially coached before. I do make workout plans and worked out with buddies and teammates for years.
How can you help someone improve their game?
Simply by learning what the athlete is good at, what they aren’t so good at. And work on improving those skills while sharpening the strong skills.
What does a typical training session look like?
Good talking, figure out where you are mentally that day. Going over the workout and plan for the day while stretching and getting prepared mentally. Start with main movement for the day, start slow building intensity. Once we reach peak workout, we will maintain that for 3/4 sets depending on goal for the day. Hit some accessories/ secondary workouts. Stretch, go over what we liked, what we didn’t like and what we need to work on. Plan for the next session
