Train with a DII All-American and 3-time PacWest Champion.

As a NCAA Division II All-American and PacWest Champion in the 100m, 200m, and 400m, I've competed at a high level and understand what it takes to succeed. With personal bests of 10.5, 20.9, and 45.8, I bring elite experience to every training session. My coaching is tailored to each athlete's goals, focusing on proper sprint mechanics, speed development, race strategy, strength, and confidence. Whether you're just getting started, looking to make your varsity team, or striving for a personal best, I'm committed to helping you improve through personalized coaching, consistent feedback, and a positive training environment.

About me

I’m a former collegiate track and field athlete with five years of NCAA experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, along with a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. Throughout my athletic career, I earned All-American honors and learned firsthand what it takes to compete at a high level. I’ve also experienced setbacks through injuries, which taught me that long-term athletic success comes from training intelligently—not just working harder.

My coaching philosophy centers on building speed, confidence, and resilience through individualized training. Whether you’re looking to improve your sprint mechanics, become more explosive, increase your overall athleticism, or prepare for the next level of competition, I create programs tailored to each athlete’s goals and needs.

I believe great coaching is about more than performance—it’s about helping athletes develop discipline, confidence, and a mindset that carries over into every area of life. My goal is to provide athletes with the same knowledge, encouragement, and attention to detail that helped shape my own journey, so they can reach their full potential both on and off the field.

Speed is a game-changer in every sport. Whether you’re a track athlete looking to drop your times or a football, soccer, baseball, basketball, or lacrosse player wanting to become faster, quicker, and more explosive, my training is designed to help you perform at your best.

I focus on sprint mechanics, acceleration, top-end speed, change of direction, explosiveness, and injury prevention through personalized coaching. Every session is tailored to your goals, current ability, and sport so you can make measurable progress while training safely and efficiently.

My goal is to help you move with more confidence, compete at a higher level, and develop habits that lead to long-term success—not just quick results. Whether you’re just getting started or striving to compete at the collegiate level, I’m committed to helping you unlock your full athletic potential.

Every session is built around one principle: master the fundamentals before adding speed. My goal is to help athletes develop efficient movement patterns first, because proper mechanics are the foundation of becoming faster, more explosive, and staying healthy.

We begin with a dynamic warm-up designed to increase mobility, activate the right muscles, and prepare the body for sprinting. From there, we’ll work through sprint drills and movement progressions that teach proper posture, rhythm, arm action, and force application. Once those fundamentals are solid, we’ll gradually progress into acceleration work, top-speed training, or sport-specific speed drills based on your goals and experience level.

At the end of each session, we’ll dedicate time to injury prevention through targeted strength, stability, and mobility exercises. Just as importantly, I’ll explain why we’re doing each drill and exercise so you understand the purpose behind the training. My goal isn’t just to make you a faster athlete—it’s to help you become a smarter one who understands how to train effectively for long-term success.

I am a former collegiate track & field athlete with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. I also hold certifications in Corrective Exercise (NASM CES) and CPR/AED, giving me a strong foundation in performance training, movement quality, and injury prevention.

Throughout my collegiate career, I competed at a high level in the 400 meters, earning NCAA All-American honors while developing a deep understanding of sprint performance and long-term athlete development.

My goal as a coach is to combine my competitive experience, education, and science-backed training methods to help athletes move better, run faster, and stay healthy while building confidence that extends beyond sport.

I honestly can’t choose just one—three coaches are tied for first because each had an incredible impact on my development: Andrea Blackett, Don Quarrie, and Carlos Moore.

Andrea Blackett is an Olympic medalist, World Championship medalist, and one of the greatest 400-meter hurdlers in Barbados’ history. Her attention to detail, technical expertise, and ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple way completely changed how I viewed sprint mechanics and training.

Don Quarrie is a true legend of the sport. The Jamaican sprint icon is an Olympic Champion, Olympic medalist, World Record holder, and one of the most accomplished sprinters Jamaica has ever produced. Learning from someone who competed and won on the biggest stage gave me invaluable insight into the mindset, discipline, and consistency required to perform at an elite level.

Carlos Moore is one of the fastest American sprinters of his generation, with personal bests of 9.97 in the 100m and 20.30 in the 200m. He is a NACAC U23 Champion and NACAC U23 silver medalist, and his elite-level sprinting experience gave me a greater appreciation for the technical side of speed development. His coaching emphasized efficient mechanics, explosive acceleration, and mastering the small details that separate good athletes from great ones.

Being coached by athletes who reached the highest levels of the sport has shaped the coach I am today. Their combined knowledge, experience, and passion for teaching inspired my coaching philosophy: master the fundamentals, train with purpose, understand why you’re doing each drill, and build speed through proper movement—not shortcuts. My goal is to pass those same lessons on to every athlete I work with.

The most important thing athletes and parents should know about me is that I care about developing the person as a whole, not just the athlete. My goal is not only to help athletes become faster, stronger, and more explosive, but to help them build confidence, discipline, accountability, and a mindset that will benefit them long after their athletic careers are over.

As a former collegiate athlete, I understand the dedication, challenges, and sacrifices required to compete at a high level. I have experienced success, setbacks, and injuries throughout my journey, which has shaped the way I coach today. I understand that every athlete is different, and development is not a one-size-fits-all process.

Communication is a major part of my coaching philosophy. I want athletes and parents to feel comfortable communicating with me about how the athlete’s body feels throughout the training process. Understanding how an athlete is responding to training allows me to make adjustments, individualize their program, and ensure we are building performance while prioritizing long-term health.

Every drill, exercise, and training decision has a purpose. I believe athletes should understand why they are doing something, because education creates smarter athletes who can take ownership of their development. My goal is to create an environment where athletes feel challenged, supported, and confident while learning how to train the right way.

Parents can expect a coach who prioritizes proper movement, injury prevention, long-term development, and building a strong relationship with both the athlete and family. My commitment is to provide the same level of care, attention to detail, and high-performance knowledge that helped me grow as an athlete while helping each athlete reach their full potential.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
