Helping people fight life's daily battles through mind, body, and spirit.
Hi, I'm Coach DWill. I'm a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) student, in training, U.S. Army Reserve Behavioral Health NCO, and Mental Performance Coach. I help athletes build confidence, develop resilience, manage pressure, and strengthen the mental side of performance. Whether you're struggling with confidence, consistency, or performing under pressure, my goal is to give you practical tools you can use both in competition and in everyday life.
Sports have always been about more than winning to me—they're an opportunity to build character, confidence, discipline, and resilience. My coaching philosophy focuses on developing the whole athlete by strengthening the mental side of performance. Whether you're trying to overcome self-doubt, improve focus, or perform more consistently under pressure, my goal is to provide practical tools that create lasting confidence both in competition and in everyday life.
Every session is individualized to the athlete's goals and current challenges. We'll begin by identifying areas for growth, discussing recent performances or situations, and introducing evidence-based mental performance strategies that can be immediately applied in practice and competition. Sessions include practical exercises, reflection, and an action plan so athletes leave with clear tools they can begin using right away.

The best coach I ever had was Keith Croft, Head Football Coach at Bishop Hendricken High School in Warwick, Rhode Island. Coach Croft didn't just teach football—he invested in people. During high school, he gave me a job to help keep me focused and out of trouble, and he genuinely cared about my family and me. He held me to a high standard while always believing I was capable of more.
Watching the culture he built taught me that great coaching extends far beyond wins and losses. Under his leadership, Bishop Hendricken has won more than 10 Rhode Island state championships and has developed numerous NFL players, along with hundreds of collegiate athletes at every level. While those accomplishments are impressive, what impacted me most was the way he developed young men of character.
That experience continues to shape my own coaching philosophy. I strive to create an environment where athletes feel supported, challenged, and accountable—one that builds confidence, resilience, discipline, and character alongside athletic performance.
My priority is helping athletes grow as people first and competitors second. I strive to create a positive, encouraging environment where athletes feel supported while also being challenged to improve. I value communication, consistency, accountability, and character just as much as performance. My goal is for every athlete I work with to leave more confident, more resilient, and better prepared for both sport and life.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
