I can help someone improve their game by asking a client what skills they want to work on. If my client have any drills they want to work on that I did not mention, I will be gladly to help them out with that drills. My goals is to help young athletes as any way I can. I will also provide feedback on how they do at the end of the session.
What does a typical training session look like?
In a typical session, I will help my client focusing on their abilities and athletic skills. There is no right or wrong answer once it comes to basketball. Whether my client is good at any specific drills or not, my goal is to help young athlete get better at variety skills at game of basketball. I would start off as a warm-up then work on basketball drills and techniques. I will talk about their goals setting. I will start off dribbling drills as a warm-up. We will work on passing and shooting (3-point shot, mid-range, close range, lay-up, and catch-shoot drills), rebound/defense. We will close out the session by working on free throws. Clients will get water break in between those drills.
