About Me:

I am a compassionate, motivated, and highly organized soccer player with a strong drive for success. I’ve played professionally and semi-professionally in the US and abroad for clubs like Pyramids FC, Ittihad Alexandria, Mpls City, Sporting Alexandria, and Wadi Degla FC. I also had the chance to represent the U20 Egyptian National team in 2019. In high school at St. Paul Central, I earned numerous honors, including being a Mr. Soccer award finalist, Star Tribune All-Metro First Team, Pioneer Press Player of the Year, and MSHSL All-State First Team. I believe in the opportunities soccer offers and, as a coach, I’m dedicated to showing players how hard work and consistency lead to success. I’m a skillful player, resilient under pressure, and goal-oriented, with a strong work ethic that I instill in my coaching philosophy.

How I can help you improve your game:

As a coach, I focus on personalized development by understanding each athlete’s strengths and areas for improvement. Through private, one-on-one sessions, I create tailored training plans that address technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning. Through understanding the type of player o am dealing with I can identify certain aspects of their game to refine and improve based on their position.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A typical session with me consists of high-intensity and detail-oriented work. Athletes can expect to be guided through a full professional warmup up and mobilization and engage in speed & agility drills to activate the muscles. My soccer drills consist of working on aspects of building game awareness, technique, first touch, dribbling, passing, heading, and shooting. I also have the capacity and freedom to provide something extra to the athlete if they wish to work on a particular aspect of their game or position. I like to structure my drills around game situations and try to make them as game-realistic as possible so that when it comes to games, the drills used in training feel second nature and give confidence in preparation. I encourage athletes working with me to provide maximum effort to focus through every one of the sessions and push them past their comfort zone because, in this way, they will see improvements.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I’ve coached soccer players and athletes of various ages, from youth to professional levels, and have been providing private soccer training for six years. Before my soccer coaching career, I was a Taekwondo instructor from the age of 13, which instilled in me values of respect, discipline, care, and responsibility. I’ve had stints with St. Paul Central High School’s soccer team and have also developed strength and conditioning programs for professional academies. However, I prefer private, one-on-one sessions because they allow me to work more closely with athletes and understand their needs on a personal level. Most of the athletes I’ve trained are high school players, but I have the flexibility to work with athletes of all ages.

Best coach I ever had:

I've had many great coaches in my career, it would be difficult to single out one. However, one common trait that all these coaches had was implementing a style of constructive criticism, motivation, and giving leisure to a players to be creative and develop their own way of playing. Providing a blueprint of the way to do something, but not restricting the athlete to solely operate in one particular way.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I am very passionate about helping players fulfill their potential and develop their skills. One thing about my coaching philosophy is that I encourage creativity and freedom for the player to discover and evaluate different game situations by thinking outside the box. I believe that there is not a 1 set in stone correct way to operate. Players to me should not be programmed to only do something a certain way because that lacks creativity and in my opinion inhibits their true potential. I supply certain instructions and feedback to the player but encourage the player to find solutions to different problems in their unique way as well. To me I want players to be ok with making mistakes. In fact, if players are not making mistakes, then they are not trying hard enough. Because it is through those moments of error in which we grow and develop.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.

Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.

AU was created by former collegiate and professional athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process and we proudly showcase a 10% acceptance rate, so you can trust you're training with the best.

At the end of the day, our mission is to provide athletes with better opportunities to succeed through coaching. You won't find a platform, and group of dedicated specialists, more excited to help you achieve your athletic goals!
