About Me:

I am a multi-sport athlete who is still engaged in sports and regularly plays competitively. I was a three-sport Varsity Athlete in High School, playing basketball, football, and track and field. I played 3 years of varsity football as a Cornerback, Safety, and Wide Receiver. In Basketball, I played a Point Guard for 1 year of varsity basketball. I led my team in steals and received the Defensive Player of the Year award. I ran the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m(situationally), 110m Hurdles, 400m Hurdles, Pole Vault, and High Jump in track and field. I medaled at least twice in every event I participated in, from Bronze to Gold.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A typical training session with me is dynamic, focused, and tailored to meet the athlete’s specific needs. Here’s what you can expect:

Warm-Up (10-15 minutes): Dynamic stretches and sport-specific drills to prepare the body, prevent injuries, and increase mobility.

Strength & Conditioning (20-30 minutes): Targeted exercises to build strength, speed, and endurance, such as resistance training, agility drills, or plyometrics.

Skill Focus (20-30 minutes): Intensive drills tailored to the athlete's sport, such as ball handling for basketball, route running/coverage drills for football, or sprint mechanics for the track.

Game Scenarios (15-20 minutes): Simulated play or situational drills to develop game IQ, decision-making, and execution under pressure.

Cool-Down & Feedback (10-15 minutes): Stretching and a review of the session’s highlights, areas for improvement, and actionable steps for continued growth.

Every session is designed to challenge the athlete, build confidence, and make noticeable progress while keeping the experience engaging and fun.

Career summary and accomplishments:

With over a decade of diverse coaching experience, I specialize in nurturing young athletes to achieve their fullest potential. My journey includes: Basketball: 3 years coaching boys and girls in recreational leagues, fostering skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Won the championship with our girls' team. Football: 6 years leading athletes as a High School Varsity Assistant Coach, Semi-Pro Head Coach/Team Owner, and Flag Football Head Coach/Owner, building winning teams and instilling discipline. Track & Field: 1 year as a High School Varsity Assistant Coach, enhancing athletes' performance in speed, endurance, and technique. I combine hands-on experience, a passion for sports, and a commitment to personal growth to help every athlete succeed on and off the field. Let’s work together to achieve greatness!

Best coach I ever had:

My high school football coach was the best coach I ever had, not only for all he accomplished in his time as a coach but also for his toughness with the guys. Although he gave the guys everything they needed regarding discipline, knowledge, and growth on the field, he also gave them support off the field. He always ensured his guys were cared for throughout the school year, even if a player couldn't play for any reason. The love he shares with and for his team has been unmatched. I strive to have a similar impact on the children, young adults, and adults every time I coach.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
