I started playing baseball at the age of eight years old and actually pitched a couple games in Little League minors. I then moved onto the major league 11 and 12-year-olds and pitched there too as well. I was a starting pitcher for my team. I made the All-Stars when I was 12 and our team won the district which consisted of three straight wins I was a back up pitcher and I batted 429 that year! And one start during the year, I beat the best team in the league by the score of five to one in a six inning game. I went on to play up until the age of 15 in the senior league.. I did not play high school or college ball however as I turned to football. But at the age of 28 I joined a sanctioned league out of San Jose for 18 year olds and up, which contained a lot of college players I pitched for four years on my team to the age of 32.. I then took some time off from baseball. I went back to college for a year or two to take some physical education, classes, weightlifting, and Pilates after my time off I worked as a contractor in the roofing industry at the age of 61 in 2019 I joined a men’s senior baseball league after the pandemic in 2020. I was a coach for my men’s baseball team for three years. I also managed a team in Arizona in the men’s senior baseball league World Series tournament. I managed another men’s team in the San Diego tournament last summer I coached young boys from the ages of 8 to 14 in summer hitting camps this year in 2024 my third year on my men’s senior baseball team. I made the All-Star team as an outfielder. I batted 462 with six doubles as I lead the league in doubles. I made the top 10 in five categories so I can offer you training in any aspect of the game pitching and fielding and batting also exercises in certain Pilates stretches, and some of my own to keep you from pulling any muscles during the season. I played all year last year without any muscle pools at the age of 66 that’s pretty good I feel it’s very important to stretch before each game and with my Pilates background and physical education from college of San Mateo I’m able to implement good stretches and exercise to keep you healthy all year , and strengthen you for more power hitting, running, sprinting.. And being an ex pitcher, I can throw pretty good batting practice as well . We will be doing a lot of that learning how to drive the ball into different areas of the field how to hit inside and outside pitches as well as change ups in breaking balls, so whatever you really want to excel in, we can work on that!

I pretty much mentioned my career in the upper box to why train with me. And I’m still actively playing at the age of 66 even though I’ve had a fractured vertebrae in my lower back, all my life , and the basic aches and pains of growing old, but I’m strong and in shape not overweight and able still to run hit and field making the All-Star team this year was probably quite an accomplishment for me at the age of 66. They picked only three outfielders and I was one of them. I had a winning record when I was pitching against college players at the ages of 28 through 32 on a losing team. I’ve spent four years working on my batting, and my average went up over 100 points last year and I continue to lead the league for the second year in doubles with six doubles in 50 appearances. And as I mentioned earlier, I made the All-Star team at the age of 12 as well.. I have a love for the game and a passion to teach and train younger athletes or even aging athletes!
With my experience with pitching and batting and fielding, I’m sure I can help you improve in any of those areas by working on basic techniques and strength training, as well as stretching keeping your muscles in good condition so you have no injuries during the year. I really implement stretching before any kind of workout or any kind of full speed sprinting.
The training session would really be up to the person Im training on what he actually wants to be working on. Whether he wants to learn how to pitch play the field or have some batting instruction with live pitching of course stretching would be the first thing we do and some light running and a session typically will be about 60 to 75 minutes..
So the majority of my coaching has been with men in the men’s senior baseball league and certain tournaments from that league. You can Google MSNL to find out more about the league. I currently play in the tri valley league. TVMSBL and I can help players get in a pool at any age to play competitive hardball. They also have a Bay Area league BAMSBL San Francisco and San Mateo county fields. The tri-Valley league is mostly in the east Bay. I was the coach of a team in the Bay Area league for three years, actually assistant coach for two, years, helping the coach with all aspects of the game, making lineups and helping players to excel at the positions to play team baseball, but having fun in the love of the game is the main thing.
All my coaches were very good. I would really have to say my coach when I playing on the major league league team at the age of 12 he taught me the basics of batting and pitching came pretty naturally to me. He had confidence in me and he helped me quite a bit as I batted .429 that year and made the All-Star team
I’m very positive, hard-working and confident that I can help any players seeking better baseball skills in any area probably specializing in batting and pitching as well as fielding. I happen to be a Christian and a non-drinker smoker or drug user. I believe being clean and sober is good for athletes and I don’t promote alcohol with sports. It’s really not good for you, and with my Christian background. I’m able to feel good about what I’m doing to help others and implement godly instructions as well as baseball techniques to improve your game I have no problem with younger athletes or even older ones that want to learn or better their game. And I’m willing to give discounted prices on instruction packages of five sessions or more.
