I am a Strength and Conditioning coach who looks to maximize every athlete's potential through Long-Term Athletic Development. I have worked with athletes of all levels, including beginners, state champions, and college studs. I work with athletes of all types, including football, soccer, basketball, baseball/softball, distance runners, wrestlers, jumpers, throwers, lacrosse, volleyball, you name it. Serious athletes take their strength and speed training seriously, and getting an edge over your opponents is about becoming a stronger, more powerful version of the athlete you already are. I work primarily through remote coaching, allowing you to train where you are most comfortable and on your time. Pricing is based on a monthly rate 1:1 training and is dependent on what you are looking for.

How I can help you improve your game:

I have a deep understanding on Anatomy, Exercise Physiology, Strength, Speed, Power, Agility, and Conditioning training concepts that I have used to help many athletes. My training is more than just "hitting the weights." It's not body building, it's performance training. I push athletes to challenge themselves every session and find their weaknesses to make them better. I try to educate athletes on why we do what we do and how it will take their performance to the next level.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

The average session for me is about an hour. First 5 minutes is a general warm up. The next 10-15 minutes is dedicated to either speed, agility, or contact prep, depending on athlete and sport demands. The next 40-45 minutes is dedicated to the weight room where we will focus on power, strength, and hypertrophy, depending on athlete and sport demands. My sessions are generally comprehensive, with a little of everything, with the understanding that it's not just about 1 session but stacking up many over a long period, progressively getting better each session.

Best coach I ever had:

In terms of accomplishments, it's easily Coach Roth at Southern Columbia. Hard to deny the man who has Pennsylvania's most wins and State Championships. Getting to play for Coach Roth for 4 years was an honor, although not easy. In terms of development I would have to say my Father, Tom Donlan. He's the one who started me in the weight room when I was in middle school and coached me for years in the shot put and discus, all the way through college.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I am passionate about Athletics and more specifically athletic development. I understand that the training process is long, and not meant to be rushed when looking at the athletic lifespan of an athlete. I am always thinking about the future of the athletes I work with and try to set them up for success through the entirety of their athletic career.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
