I can help players improve their game by working on their weaknesses, building off their strengths, and adding new skills that will improve their athleticism and position specific necessities. I will provide drills and workouts that will cater to the needs of every player specifically. I use GAME applicable drills that progress and build off of each other. You won't be doing anything with me that you won't do in a game.
Muscle building, recovery practices, and dieting education will also be included our training plan.
A typical training session would start with a static stretch followed by a dynamic warm up. Stretching and adequately warming up is crucial for injury prevention, so that will be an emphasis to start every session. Then we'll dive straight into fundamental footwork and agility drills. The dynamic warmup and footwork/agility drills will be something we do every session. After those drills are completed, we'll work on whatever specific drills I feel are important for your position/weaknesses. After drills, we will work on pass catching and route running. Lastly, we will finish with a debrief on the workout and communicate any questions/concerns/feelings. This schedule is subject to change depending on the needs of the player.
I first started coaching athletes when I was 20 years old. I started off doing personal 1 on 1 running back training sessions. In 2021, in addition to my one on one training, I started coaching youth sports/weight classes for kids ages 12 and under. From 2021 to the present, I've also gained experience coaching HIIT circuit classes for adults. I have experience and expertise coaching all types of people, however, the services I plan on offering are going to be football specific. I specialize in running back and receiver training, but I can coach you for whatever position you play.
The best coach I've ever had was my head coach at Southwestern College, Ed Carberry. Coach Carberry always believed in me and trusted me to do my job, no matter how big the game was. Coach Carberry rewarded me for my hard work I put in the offseason, and gave me the opportunity to showcase my skills and earn a scholarship to play at a university. He always believed that if you were disciplined, worked hard, played for your brothers, and prioritized your personal life outside of football, you could accomplish any goal you had for yourself, on the field, or off. I am grateful for his belief and trust in me and for being such a great coach during my time at Southwestern College.
Athletes and parents should know that I am a professional, on and off the field. I'm a very seasoned athlete and coach with over a decade of experience playing football. I started playing football in the 4th grade when I was only 8 years old, and since then I've played high school, collegiate, and professional football. I was training for my pro day workout so I could sign with an NFL team, however, in March of 2020, due to Covid I had my pro day workout cancelled and I wasn't able to workout or sign with any of the NFL team who came to see me. After that, I stayed in shape, trained hard, and I attended multiple showcases and tryouts and I also earned the opportunity to be entered in the USFL, XFL, AND UFL drafts. Despite all my efforts, I was never signed. However, since then I have became a EMT, a certified personal trainer, an elementary school teacher, and now I'm currently in school to receive my Masters as a clinical counselor. I am forever thankful for football and I will always be a football player, however, now my goal is to give back to the game by helping coach and mentor athletes. I have experience coaching and training kids of all ages and backgrounds. I also have experience training high school, college, and professional athletes. My time as an EMT, personal trainer, and elementary school teacher has added to my skillset and allowed me become a strong coach. If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
