Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
My father who is a National Golden Gloves boxing champion, and my junior college coach Jerry Burns who is the current coach of Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY are the best coaches I have had. Coach Burns taught me that hard work brings reward and how to use basketball to serve my goals. My father taught me boxing skills that enhanced my hand speed and served well on the basketball court as I led my college team in steals, while exhibiting a tough, competitive spirit. All mantras that I currently live daily.

How can you help someone improve their game?
I can help a player improve their game by helping to increase their understanding and knowledge of the game of basketball itself. Having been blessed to play all levels of basketball I can explain and show the process of what it takes to become a better player. This includes information sharing along with player drills that enhance overall skillset.
What does a typical training session look like?
A training session with me will happen in a varied and layered format beginning with the basic fundamentals. It is essential to lock in on the fundamentals as mastering them will unlock the ability to execute many creative styles of play on the court. Sessions begin with stretching and warm up drills. Training will intensify as drills will become more challenging to the mind and body. Strength and conditioning exercises will also be incorporated into skill training sessions.
