Basketball has always been more than just a sport to me. It teaches discipline, teamwork, toughness, leadership, and how to respond when things get hard. As a coach, I want to pass those lessons on to the next generation of athletes.
I enjoy working with players at different skill levels, whether they are just learning the game or trying to take the next step competitively. Every athlete develops differently, so I focus on meeting players where they are while helping them grow with structure and purpose.
I can help players improve by focusing on the skills that actually translate to game situations. That includes ball handling, shooting form, footwork, finishing, defense, conditioning, passing, court vision, and basketball IQ.
My goal is to help athletes become more comfortable and confident when the game speeds up. We will work on fundamentals, but also decision-making, effort, body control, and understanding why certain moves or skills matter in a real game.
A typical session starts with a warm-up focused on movement, coordination, and ball control. From there, we move into skill work based on the athlete’s needs, such as shooting mechanics, dribbling, footwork, finishing, defensive movement, or conditioning.
I like to keep sessions structured, competitive, and game-focused. I explain the purpose behind each drill so athletes understand how it applies during actual play. Every session is designed to help the player leave sharper, more confident, and clear on what they need to keep improving.
My basketball background started at a young age, and one of the most impactful experiences I had was attending Point Guard College Basketball camps. That experience helped shape the way I understand the game — not just through skills and drills, but through basketball IQ, leadership, decision-making, communication, and confidence.
Being exposed to that type of training taught me that great players are not just the most athletic players on the court. Great players know how to think the game, make the right reads, compete with purpose, and help their team win.
As a coach, I bring that same mindset into my training sessions. My focus is on helping athletes build strong fundamentals while also learning how to become smarter, tougher, and more confident players. I want every athlete I work with to understand the “why” behind what we’re doing, so their development carries over into real games.
My biggest accomplishment is using the lessons I learned through basketball to help young athletes grow in skill, confidence, discipline, and love for the game.
The best coach I ever had was someone who cared about more than just winning. They pushed players to work hard, pay attention to details, and hold themselves accountable, but they also made it clear that they believed in us.
That type of coaching stayed with me because it showed me that a great coach doesn’t just teach skills. A great coach helps build confidence, character, toughness, and trust. That is the kind of impact I want to have on the athletes I train.
Athletes and parents should know that I care about developing the right way. I am patient, positive, and encouraging, but I will also challenge players to focus, compete, and give their best effort.
For parents, my goal is to create a safe, structured, and productive training environment where your child can grow in confidence and skill. For athletes, I want you to know that I will push you, support you, and help you understand how to get better one step at a time.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
