With a lifelong passion for the game and years of experience at both competitive and coaching levels, I bring a deep understanding of soccer to players of all ages and skill levels. Early in my athletic career, I competed at the highest levels of travel club soccer in Southern California, gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced, competitive setting. I then played Division I soccer at Florida State University before continuing with FSU's women’s club team, where I further honed my technical and tactical skills. As a coach, I’ve worked extensively with youth athletes through Coastal Rush, recognized as the largest organized youth soccer club in the United States, where I focus on foundational development, technical excellence, and long-term growth. I also coach advanced adult players in a competitive recreational league, designing sessions that challenge and elevate performance through real-game scenarios.

With over two years of experience as a coach, and over 20 years as a player, I bring a well-rounded understanding of the game to every training session. I am passionate about helping players develop their skills, confidence, and love for soccer through focused, individualized coaching.
As I begin my journey into private coaching, I’m excited to work closely with players and families to support growth on and off the field.
With a background in sports psychology, I offer a unique blend of physical training and mental conditioning, helping players enhance their confidence, focus, and resilience on and off the field. Whether you're a beginner or looking to take your game to the next level, I create tailored strategies to unlock your full potential.
For our first session, I encourage players to arrive with at least one goal that they would like to improve. This goal should be specific, measurable, realistic, and timely. The first session will be different from the following sessions in that I will take a base measurement of your aptitudes and skills in the following areas: speed, ball control, foot-work, form, accuracy, passing and shooting power, and endurance. We will begin subsequent sessions with a brief warm-up and stretching period (5-8 min) and immediately transition into a cardio-focused activity (15 min). After the activity is completed, we go into a skill-specific drill meant to improve upon your initial goal (20-25 min) and work at this in a game-like scenario. Finally, we will perform a cool-down activity (10 min) and post-session reflection (1-2 min). Each session will build upon your goal until you are satisfied with your improvement or see your goal to completion. (Sessions will contain plenty of water breaks, especially during hotter days).
As a coach, I’ve worked extensively with youth athletes through Coastal Rush—recognized as the largest organized youth soccer club in the United States—where I emphasize foundational skill development, technical precision, and long-term player growth. I also coach advanced adult players in a competitive recreational league, designing high-intensity training sessions that simulate real-game scenarios to sharpen tactical awareness and elevate performance. Beyond the field, I served as an instructor in a youth leadership program at the Boys & Girls Club, where I developed and led team-building activities focused on communication, confidence, and personal development. This experience further strengthened my ability to foster growth in both athletic and character development.
My U-13 coach from Conejo Valley Unified, Coach Laura, made the greatest impact on me both as a player and as an individual. Under her guidance, I not only developed my technical and physical skills on the field, but also gained valuable mental tools that extended far beyond the game. Through her emphasis on goal setting, positive reinforcement, and mental resilience, I learned how to approach challenges with confidence and focus; lessons that have shaped my growth in all areas of life. Coach Laura’s influence was foundational in my journey as both an athlete and a person, and I use many of her coaching techniques and best practices to this day!
I am certified in SafeSport, hold a U.S. Soccer D License for both 7v7 and 11v11 formats, and am CPR certified. These credentials reflect my commitment to providing a safe, structured, and development-focused environment for all players. If you are unable to meet at the fields in Newbury Park, I am flexible and committed to travel a distance of up to 25 miles away from any of the listed locations (above).

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
