Athletic Background
Summary of Career and Accomplishments
I went to Fleming Island high school class of 2021 and was the starting third baseman for our first state championship run where we fell short in the championship game, I've played high level travel and showcase baseball from elementary school through high school Winnie multiple tournaments and Perfect game awards. I attended Edward Waters University after high school where I was a starting pitcher in the schools first year of division 2 baseball.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
The best coach I have ever had would be my high school infielders coach Dave Whetstone. Coach Dave is the best coach I ever had because from the first time I stepped on the field at Fleming Island he was never easy on me, he taught me that baseball was more than a game and taught me that baseball can prepare you for any adversity you could potentially go through.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
What parents and athletes should know about me is that even though I may be young, I am very dedicated and determined to help you reach you or your child's goals. If that means being harder on them or being a little gentler at times, we will work together to do whatever we can to push them to the next level in whichever way it works for them because no two kids are the same.
Coaching Background
Summary of Coaching Background
My background in coaching started when I was a sophomore in high school and I was the assistant coach for my brothers 8u rec ball team That next year I also worked with a 12uteam as well as my brothers 9u. I then helped my brothers 10u and 11u all star and travel teams before starting lessons with kids on that team who wanted more 1 on 1 time.
How can you help someone improve their game?
I can help someone improve their game by mixing drills from old and new generations, video break downs, and hands-on instruction. I won't ask you to do anything I haven't done or wouldn't do along side you. My goal is to not only improve your game on the field but to also make sure you are mentally prepared for the day and week.
What does a typical training session look like?
A typical training session would start with a good stretch and warm up, as we warm up we will talk about goals for the day and what we can do to reach them. Each session will be based on multiple game scenarios and how to work through and excel in those scenarios. In the end of the session we will stretch again and talk about the days goals and our goals for during the week, the week goals can be school goals, small life goals, goals with team, friends, or even family.
