As a former pro athlete, I’m passionate about guiding young players to grow in skill, confidence, and character—both on the court and in life.

Playing professionally in the Philippines taught me that there is more to learn about yourself and your sport — even at the highest level! I strive to inspire the younger generation to become the athlete I was once blessed to be and to lead them to achieve more than I ever did! I believe basketball is more than just a sport to develop your athletic performance — its a platform to grow towards your purpose and who you’ve been called to be!

About Me:

I was blessed to be able to play internationally in the Philippines as a professional 3x3 basketball player. I played for Uratex Dream and competed against other top asian countries like Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore, while also being given the opportunity to play as an import for Jumpshot Singapore. I also played in college for the National University-Manila Lady Bulldogs in the Philippines as well, and was also given the chance to practice with the Philippine National Team throughout the pandemic.

How I can help you improve your game:

1. I incorporate neurocognitive training. During each workout, my clients are taught how to process different types of information while performing each dribbling, passing, and shooting workout, so that when in the game, they are able to make quick, detailed decisions while others would normally be overloaded with the information.

2. Strength and conditioning, agility, and injury-prevention. Coaches often neglect the very components that make every athlete not only compete at the highest level, but for years to come. I’m very systematic when it comes to body mechanics and movement whether it is with or without the ball, and I want you to be the most explosive, strong, durable player you can be.

3. Shooting, dribbling, and passing. Whether you are a guard or a big, mastering the fundamentals are key components to making you an all-around player.

4. If open to it, sharing how faith plays a huge part in playing our sport. I believe that just like an athlete, we are to practice our faith on and off the court. I will teach you how God’s Word has taught me on how to face tough competition, how to grow in God-confidence and the gifts He has given you, and how to perceive yourself, others, and the game for God’s glory.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Warm-ups will consist of neurocognitive training and dynamic stretching. Depending on the goals of the athlete, we will focus on that specific component, whether it be strength, conditioning, agility, mastering the fundamentals, or all of the above. Working smart, not just hard is the goal, so training sessions will be uniquely designed to tailor the athlete’s specific needs and goals. Adjustments will always be made to further challenge your physical and mental game to help you get better faster. We will finish up with a shooting workout that also equipped me to become a sharp shooter. Yes, that includes you bigs too. :)

Career summary and accomplishments:

I’ve coached young kids in various sports camps and clinics while playing professionally in the Philippines. My team and I would travel to different provinces to help introduce, train, and grow the skills and talents of our clients towards the sport that we love.

Best coach I ever had:

Coach Kat Quimpo, my professional coach for Uratex. As someone who served in full-time sports ministry while working as a full-time professional coach, she not only invested in me as a pro player, but also as another follower of Christ. We led sports ministry and camps together for young kids, and she inspired me that basketball is more than just a sport, it’s a platform where kids and families get to experience the love of Christ through competing!

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I was always the underdog. I never really stood out as much as my other teammates did growing up, but that was exactly the path God allowed me to take, and boy did He make a story out of that!

I was a decent player growing up in HS, never receiving D1 or D2 offers like some of my teammates here in the US, so I moved to the Philippines to initially focus on getting my BS in Nursing. But later on, God recruited me to play for the #1 college team in the country, National University. Still, I never stood out—in fact, I was one of the last people coming off the bench. Our team still won the championship, but my heart yearned to be able to contribute more. But God in His faithfulness kept reminding me to keep my eyes focused on Him. In 2023, I was cut from my team because I had already graduated with my BSN, hoping to still play as a super senior. Lost, I turned to God. This is where I met Coach Kat, where she told me that they had recently lost a player and needed to fill in a position—the position being a shooter, the exact person that I was. After joining the Uratex Dream team, I realized that I was one of the only 12 players to play professionally in the Philippines, as this was the only professional team in the country. I was also the youngest on the team by at least 4 years, so the learning was huge, but this was where I really started to grow as a player. Another year later, however, I was cut again because our team decided to recruit more international imports for what was supposed to be my last tournament in my career before heading back to the US. Oh how devastated I was. Playing out of the country with my team for the first time was the prayer that the Lord has given me and thought He would answer. As I refocused my eyes on the Lord for a month, I received a text message two weeks before the tournament — that I get to play internationally for Singapore as an import. Also it was the same tournament my team would compete in. That completely blew my mind. There has only been 3 players in our country who got to play as imports for other countries, and I got to be one of them! To top it all off, my last tournament was the best tournament I’ve ever had in my life! Shots felt automatic, confidence through the roof, and I was the MVP of my team in the tournament. Hahaha. All Praise and Glory to God!

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place.
