Why Train With Me?

Honestly, the most fun part about golf is playing well. And how do you do that? By training with me. I've played my whole life, from a junior to a professional level, so I know firsthand what it takes to improve. The process of getting better is a lot of fun, especially when you start seeing results, which I guarantee. I take a simple approach to the game, with easy-to-understand tips and swing thoughts for all ages and skill levels.

Athletic Background

Summary of Career and Accomplishments
Varsity High School golf team from 10th - 12th grade. 6A District Champion. D1 Golfer at Missouri State University. Student-Athlete academic honor roll. Top20 at every participating Conference Championship.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
There’s been several coaches in my life who have had an impact on my game and have taken their teaching methods to develop my own. Juan Carlos Correa in my hometown of Mexico City ingrained the fundamentals in me as a kid, “brush the grass.” Brady Stapp at Augusta Pines, took my game to the next level with lessons that are easy to comprehend. My high school and college coaches, Noski and Stafford gave me an excellent platform to compete in. And, of course, my dad.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
As intense as this profile might seem I am very relaxed, friendly, and funny guy. Most of my experience is with kids but I have also help my close friends who recently picked up the game as well as more experienced players. You will get your money’s worth.

Coaching Background

Summary of Coaching Background
No formal coaching background besides being around coaches for over a decade. Assisted with several junior clinics as well as some private lessons.
How can you help someone improve their game?
Simplifying the game, teach drills and movements that are easy to understand and repeat . Focus on strong fundamentals and then putting it all together in the course.
What does a typical training session look like?
A typical training session with me would be working half of the time on short game and hitting the range other half. I truly believe that it’s best to develop a strong short game in order to improve but also understand that it’s fun to let the big dog eat (Driver) and I embrace that.
