I have a passion for lacrosse and leadership. In my 9 years of high school and collegiate lacrosse at the Division I and II level, I was a starter for all 9 years and a team captain for 7. This sport has given me so much, and coaching provides me an opportunity to give back some of the great lessons I have learned from my coaches and mentors.

About Me:

In high school, I started all four years at Roswell High School and earned All-State Honors my Junior and Senior years, while also earning the teams "best defenseman" award for all four years. I was captain of the team my Sophomore through Senior years.

In Division I, at Lafayette College, I started all four years and was a team captain my Sophomore through Senior years. I received the teams most improved award my freshman year, the strength and conditioning award my junior year, and our teams most prestigious award, the brotherhood award, my senior year.

During my Graduate year at the University of Tampa, in Division II, I was selected as team captain, I received All-Conference as well as Scholar All-American Honors, won the Sunshine State Conference, and made it to the Final Four of the NCAA tournament.

Through my college experience, I also received Magna Cum Laude honors in my undergraduate Neuroscience degree, as well as posting a 4.0 through my entire masters degree.

How I can help you improve your game:

I can improve all facets of a defenseman's game. I was lucky enough to be coached by three talented defensive coordinators in my high school / college career. I can improve on-ball footwork, off-ball footwork, stick skills, lacrosse IQ, as well as general training habits.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A typical training session will include a dynamic warm up, a stick work session, and then the primary focus of the day. The primary focus of the day will revolve around different parts of the game defensively, wether it be on-ball footwork, approach footwork, angles, on-ball positioning, off-ball alignment, ground balls, or clearing. This can be catered to whatever the athlete needs, regardless of skill level or age. For each session, it expected that the player bring their cleats, stick, gloves, and helmet.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I have coaching experience from the U11 level through the high school varsity level. I have primarily coached and traveled with the Roswell Raptors club. I have run my own individual lessons in previous years.

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach I have ever had was my Defensive Coordinator at the University of Tampa, Ryan Sullivan. Coach Sullivan has a passion for coaching, lacrosse and winning. The most important thing Coach Sullivan did was truly care about his players. He wanted us to succeed more than anything. On and off the field he wanted the absolute best for us and held us accountable to that standard at all times.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

Throughout my career, I have encountered several setbacks and complete stops that have grown my love for the sport even more. As a young athlete, I was cut from the first select lacrosse team I tried out for. As a high school athlete, I tore my ACL, and was told I was not good enough to earn playing time at a Division 1 school. In college I encountered the loss of a close family member, and ultimately opted in for my 5th year to make them proud. Throughout my entire journey, I do not know what I would have done without this game, and all of the teammates, friends, and coaches that helped me through it all. Now that I am done with playing, I hope I can be the light that others were for me when I needed it.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.

Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.

AU was created by former collegiate and professional athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process and we proudly showcase a 10% acceptance rate, so you can trust you're training with the best.

At the end of the day, our mission is to provide athletes with better opportunities to succeed through coaching. You won't find a platform, and group of dedicated specialists, more excited to help you achieve your athletic goals!
