Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
Growing up in Pine Bluff, Arkansas I had a coach named Willy Smith, I played with his son from t-ball to Little League. He was a father figure to me and pushed me but also was a great teacher, he had a baseball field at his house and taught me about how the game of baseball is really about adjustments and moving on after failing to the next play/pitch.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
Have a passion for the game of baseball, it is the greatest game created and I really try and instill that into the kids and teach them life skills and discipline and the pitfalls that come with being an athlete.
