About Me:

I grew up immersed in sports, with football as my first love. I played Division III football at Abilene McMurry University before transitioning to Sam Houston State University to complete my collegiate journey.

How I can help you improve your game:

I help athletes improve their game by equipping them with the mental tools to excel under pressure, develop self-awareness, and build unshakable confidence. Drawing from experience working with athletes at all levels—from little league players to professional athletes—I tailor strategies to each individual’s needs. Whether it’s teaching you how to slow down your thoughts, regulate emotions, unleash flow, or navigate pressure situations, I aim to ensure athletes can incorporate the necessary routines to maximize their focus, resilience, and clarity to perform at their best both on and off the field.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A training session is a virtual meeting on Zoom that usually lasts 45 minutes to an hour. Each week focuses on a specific area based on the athlete's needs, which we figure out using an initial assessment to see their strengths and areas to improve. Every session includes an activity that the athlete works on during or after to reinforce what we talked about. Over time, these activities stack up, giving them a personal mental toolkit to boost their performance and confidence.

Career summary and accomplishments:

During my time as a mental performance coach, I’ve had the privilege of working with athletes at all levels. I’ve spent a season working with an NFL defensive lineman and a Major League Baseball outfielder, and I’ve worked closely for several years with a professional basketball player competing overseas. I’ve also led team sessions on self-talk and mental toughness with the Lewisville High School football team. Additionally, I’ve collaborated with coaches to develop season-long mental playbooks for their players and helped little league athletes overcome their fears at the plate—while also equipping their parents with tools to better support their kids through those challenges.

Best coach I ever had:

My varsity football coach, Steve Halpin, was hands down the best coach I’ve ever had—not because of his play-calling, but because of how he led and inspired us. He made a point to connect with each player, celebrated our small wins, and pushed us to aim higher. He led by example and always put the team first, which played a huge role in us making two playoff runs during my high school years.

Athletes and parents should know that, I pride myself on being a servant leader who prioritizes meeting their needs. My goal is to instill confidence in both parents and athletes while helping athletes develop a strong sense of self-awareness. They can trust that they’ll be working with someone who is an active listener and deeply committed to the craft of mental performance coaching, bringing hours of dedication and expertise to help them succeed in executing the details.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
