One swing doesn’t fit all. Allow me to help you find your swing and make it serve you to its fullest potential. We’ll start by analyzing your current skill set, both physically and mentally, and build from there! I look forward to helping you be the best you can be!

I am a proud Colorado local who believes in hard work, staying curious, and making the most out of every day both on and off the course! Golf has played a significant role in shaping those beliefs and has inspired me pursue coaching. I believe that by being a coach I can cultivate an environment where people can strengthen, grow, and develop their goals in golf as well as learn a few things along the way! When I'm not on the golf course, I like to remain active by working out at the gym or going on a long hike with good company. When it's time for me to wind down, I enjoy watching a show, movie, or take some time to read a good book on philosophy or psychology.
With 16 years of experience honing my craft in golf and a strong interest in philosophy and psychology, I will incorporate different methods best suited for the individual I am coaching. Some may struggle more with confidence, while others may struggle more with the physical aspect of the game. By understanding this, I believe it gives me a leg up on other coaches who may want to implement a “one swing fits all” approach.
Mood check - First 5-10 minutes getting a feel for where the client is at mentally. This will play into what we work on that day.
Swing check (for long game) - Identify key mechanics that are vital to an efficient swing. It’s important to avoid fixing too many things at once so likely each session will only cover one or two fixes. As we progress, we will begin blending mechanics into slightly more complex techniques.
Short game - This is arguably more important than the long game. A series of drills will be implemented to hone the client’s approach, chipping, and putting skills. As we progress, we will adjust the regiment accordingly to the client’s preferences.
Mental toughness - Golf is a very mental game so it’s important to have a good relationship with the way we talk to ourselves on and off the course. If applicable, I will include some techniques to help build a better psyche to improve confidence and self-knowledge to keep the client practicing and playing their best even when their game isn’t up to par.
Wrap it up - We will sum up and review everything we went over during the session. Moreover, we will compare the info we collected at the beginning of the session (such as the mood check and swing check) to the end result of the session. I will jot questions and responses down so we can continue to cover and work on them during future sessions.
With over sixteen years of playing experience, I have developed a deep passion for all aspects of the game along with a strong competitive edge. Currently, I maintain a handicap index of 3.9 with a personal best score of 68. One of my proudest achievements would be winning the 2022 West Woods Men's Club Championship. This was a true testament to years of dedication and hard work toward perfecting my game. I continue to challenge and develop myself using the knowledge I've accrued throughout my years while keeping an open mind to learning new methods.
The best coach I ever had, and thankfully still have, is my grandfather. Aside from teaching me swing mechanics and routine, he has also taught me how to take the good with the bad on and off the course. My desire to be a leader is partly thanks to him and his wisdom that I intend to carry and pass on to others throughout my career.
I’m a firm believer that balance is key in life. In this case, balancing both physical and mental wellbeing is the ultimate approach I will take during sessions. A balanced connection between mind and body is what allows every great athlete to be successful!

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.
