As a player, I played college soccer and basketball at the division 3 level. In high school, I was an all-league player for both sports.
As a Coach, I have many different accomplishments and I have been fortunate enough to coach some very talented student-athletes. Some accolades as a coach are listed below:
As an Assistant Coach at Assumption University Division 2, we made it to the NCAA Tournament and coached some all-region selections and one All-American as well.
As a Head Coach at Becker, I led the team to the conference semi-finals for 3 years in a row and had the conference player of the year, many first team selections and all region selections as well.
As a Head coach at Colby-Sawyer, I lead the team to the conference semi-finals this past season and had the conference offensive player of the year and all-region selections as well.
I will instill confidence in the athlete and make sure to teach and demonstrate proper technique so they can always improve. I will give them ideas and things they can do on their own and ideally will watch them in a game setting so I can help give feedback which will help them improve in the game setting as well. The biggest thing is depending on the skill level, I always make sure to adjust the sessions and make sure they are challenged regardless of age and skill level. Every client and kid needs to be coached a little differently so I always adapt to the player's age and skill and will help them improve in all facets of the game.
It usually goes from simple to complex. I think for private sessions the biggest thing for me is to make sure they get a lot of quality touches and repetitions. I usually try to do a little of everything in the first couple sessions to really see what level the player is at and what they need to work on the most. I always include the technical aspects like dribbling, 1v1 moves, passing/receiving, finishing/shooting and also some basic defending as well. I set up a variety of different activities.
Coaching at all levels for the past 18 years. In the school setting, I started with a middle school team and have coach junior varsity and varsity high school and for the past 10 years I've been coaching at the college level. I'm going into my 7th year as a head coach at the division 3 college level. I was an assistant for 4 years and 3 of them were at the division 2 level. I've coached with various club teams for about 14 years. I've coached with Massachusetts Youth Soccer and the ODP program for a couple years. I coached a women's Pro-AM team in it's inaugural season. I've also been in the daycare/younger kids programs setting as a director and coached ages 2-8 in that setting. I have experience coaching all ages including girls and boys!
I think the best coach I had was my Dad just because he always supported me and didn't push me too much and just made sure I enjoyed the game. I have great memories of him coaching my travel teams growing up and he really helped me gain the passion I have for the game and ultimately, I think I really wanted to get into coaching because he always coached me.
I'm a family guy, I've been married for 8 years and have 3 beautiful kids and a 4th one on the way! I'm very grateful for my family and enjoy spending every minute with them when I'm not working.
I'm a confident coach and really try to instill confidence in the kids that I work with. I think it's half the battle to just have the confidence and belief when you play this game and not be afraid of failure or making some mistakes whether it's in a game or training.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.
