Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
The best coach I ever had was coach Duggar Baucom, my college coach my Junior and Senior year. He instilled the upmost confidence in me and allowed me to be the player that was putting the work in during the offseason.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
I am always willing to help as long as the athletes are coachable and parents allow me to train on what was asked to be worked on or whatever else I notice. I understand there are more than one way things can be done and I would expect parents to understand their child better than I would so I am open to hearing your thoughts, but also allow me to do what you are looking for.. get your child better!
Coaching Background
Summary of Coaching Background
Currently coaching in the organization C2G (Commit to the Grind). I have been with the organization for 4 years working with boys and girls from 4th grade to high school.
How can you help someone improve their game?
By providing several workouts to improve an athletes basics such as ball handling, passing and shooting. However, if an athlete shows coach-ability and is willing to do the work, we can also improve IQ, defense, finishing at the rim, strength, conditioning and agility.
What does a typical training session look like?
Typically like to begin with ball handling leading into ball handling into finishes or ball handling into jump shots, followed by a series of shooting with conditioning. If enough people, we will compete 1v1, 2v2 etc. Finishing the session with strength, conditioning and agility.
