I have played both baseball and football for all of my life, just recently retiring from playing Independent League professional baseball this past year (2024), thus allowing me to more effectively relate to athletes since I was a player myself. In addition, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with the next generation to help improve their skills and get them to the next level, while taking into consideration both their physical and mental well-being at all times.

I’ve learned that the most important thing besides possessing sheer raw talent is having exceptional mechanics. This is especially true for athletes who are “Rotational Athletes” – i.e., quarterbacks, pitchers, golfers, tennis players, etc. I know how to effectively communicate how to improve mechanics/technique for both pitchers and quarterbacks, which I not only learned from my previous coaching experience, but also from various teammates over the years who have asked for my feedback to improve their game.
Training sessions will be customized to the goals of the client. Every session will begin with proper warm-up drills, followed by a solid period of catch play. The remainder of the session will focus on providing instruction. For my pitching clients, this can include anything from learning new pitches and pitch grips; to understanding pitch sequences; to knowing how to locate and tunnel pitches; but most importantly, how to get hitters out. For my QB clients, instruction can include anything from learning footwork skills and how to move around the pocket; to perfecting the throwing motion; to improving pre-snap awareness; but most importantly, how to make plays.
Coached both a 10U and 12U travel baseball team in Newport Beach, CA • Provided one-on-one baseball lessons to 15-plus clients in Newport Beach, CA • Helped run a Youth Baseball Camp while attending the University of Hawaii
I’ve been fortunate to have had many great coaches during my sports career, including my Dad – however, during some of my most formative years (from age 14 to 17), I had the privilege of attending a very competitive skills based off-season football camp. It is called B2G sports and is run out of Baldwin Hills, CA (the same area where Snoop Dog runs his Pop Warner league). B2G consists of numerous former NFL players, each specializing in the position that they had played and players at this camp consisted of numerous 4 and 5-star recruits, as well as, athletes preparing for the NFL.
It was at this camp where I received personalized quarterback instruction from Coach Cash (a former NFL player with the NY Jets, Giants, and Washington Redskins). Coach Cash was the best coach I ever had because he truly CARED ABOUT HIS PLAYERS – he was 100% locked-in and committed to helping me improve my game. It wasn’t just a job for him, it was his passion. To this day, I remember every single session with Coach Cash because I absolutely loved being there and I respected him immensely.
I want my clients to know that in addition to my extensive knowledge of the game and playing experience, I have also had to endure the many ups and downs that athletes will inevitably experience during their career. In addition to the physical improvement of the game, I also want to help my clients navigate the ever so important (and often ignored) mental challenges of the game as well.
