I have dedicated my career to helping athletes of all ages reach their full potential. With more than 15 years of experience in fitness and athletic performance, I specialize in strength and conditioning, speed and agility, functional movement, injury prevention, mobility, and sport-specific performance training. Whether you're preparing for your first season, trying to earn more playing time, returning from an injury, or competing at a high level, every training program is customized to your individual goals.
My coaching philosophy is built around movement quality first. Proper technique creates stronger, faster, and more explosive athletes while reducing the risk of injury. I focus on developing complete athletes by improving strength, power, acceleration, balance, coordination, conditioning, and confidence.
In addition to coaching athletes, I have spent years mentoring young people through leadership and violence prevention programs, helping them develop accountability, communication skills, and mental toughness. These experiences have shaped my coaching style to challenge athletes while creating a supportive environment where they can grow both physically and mentally.
Whether we're training for baseball, football, basketball, general athletic development, or overall fitness, my goal is simple: to help every athlete become the strongest, healthiest, and most confident version of themselves. Every training session is personalized to the athlete's age, experience, sport, and goals. We begin with a dynamic warm-up and mobility routine to prepare the body for movement and reduce the risk of injury.
From there, we focus on the areas that will have the biggest impact on performance. Depending on your goals, sessions may include speed and agility drills, strength and power development, sport-specific movement training, balance and coordination exercises, conditioning, or position-specific skill work. Throughout the session, I provide real-time coaching and feedback to improve technique, efficiency, and confidence.
We finish with recovery work, mobility, and a brief review of your progress, along with recommendations for what to practice between sessions. Every workout is designed to build measurable improvement while keeping training challenging, engaging, and enjoyable.

The best coach I ever had was my martial arts sensei and foster parent, James Smith. Through his guidance, I learned the values of discipline, respect, self-awareness, empathy, focus, and the importance of treating others like family.
He showed me that confidence is earned through preparation, consistency, and hard work, and that lasting accomplishments come from the willingness to do the work when no one is watching. As a young teenager, his mentorship helped me believe in myself and gave me a foundation that changed the course of my life.
Today, I strive to pass those same lessons on to every athlete I coach. My goal is not only to help athletes become stronger, faster, and more confident, but also to develop the mindset, resilience, and character that will serve them long after the game is over. Those lessons helped shape me into the mentor, coach, business owner, and community advocate I am today.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
