Helping athletes develop consistent confidence, resilience, & a love for sport.

I help athletes understand and train the mental side of performance. Through one-on-one mentorship and performance coaching, I work with athletes to build confidence, navigate pressure, develop stronger habits, and create a mindset that supports long-term growth. As a former elite collegiate rower at the University of Texas at Austin, I understand firsthand the demands of competing at the highest level while balancing academics, expectations, setbacks, and the daily pursuit of improvement. I competed for five years in NCAA Division I rowing, winning three NCAA Team National Championships and two NCAA individual boat national titles. My coaching is not about giving athletes generic motivation or telling them to simply “be more confident.” It is about helping athletes understand their own thoughts, recognize patterns that impact performance, and develop practical strategies they can use before, during, and after competition.

About me

I believe mental performance is a skill that can be trained.

Confidence, focus, resilience, and composure are not traits that some athletes naturally have and others do not. They are skills developed through intentional practice, reflection, and consistent effort.

Throughout my athletic career, I learned that success is not only determined by talent or physical preparation. It comes from how athletes respond to pressure, setbacks, uncertainty, and moments when things do not go according to plan.

My experience comes from years of competing at an elite level being both an athlete and mentor, supporting teammates through challenges, and coaching rowers as they work toward their goals. I have seen firsthand how the right guidance, mindset, and support can help athletes build confidence, navigate setbacks, and continue growing both in sport and in life.

Athletes often know what they need to do physically, but the mental side can become the difference-maker.

I help athletes:

- Build confidence that is based on preparation and self-trust

- Develop routines for practices, competitions, and recovery

- Learn how to respond to mistakes and setbacks

- Improve focus and consistency under pressure

- Identify negative thought patterns and replace them with more productive approaches

- Understand their motivation and what drives them

- Develop mental habits that support long-term success

My coaching approach is individualized. Every athlete has different experiences, goals, challenges, and motivations. The goal is not to create a “perfect mindset,” but to help each athlete build awareness and tools that work for them.

Every athlete’s journey starts with understanding who they are.

We begin by discussing:

- Your athletic background and experiences

- What you love about your sport

- Your goals and what success looks like for you

- Areas where you feel confident

- Areas where you feel stuck or challenged

From there, we explore the day-to-day mental side of your performance:

- What is your internal conversation like during training?

- What thoughts show up before competition?

- How do you respond after mistakes?

- What happens when pressure increases?

- What habits help you perform your best?

- What patterns might be holding you back?

Together, we identify practical strategies and habits you can apply immediately in your sport.

I competed at the highest level of collegiate rowing for five years at the University of Texas at Austin while completing a double major in engineering and mathematics. My athletic journey began in high school, where I participated in U19 U.S. Junior National Team camps and trained in a high-performance environment alongside some of the top young rowers in the country.

After being recruited on scholarship to the University of Texas, I competed as a Division I student-athlete and experienced firsthand the demands of balancing elite athletics, academics, team expectations, and personal growth. Throughout my collegiate career, I was fortunate to be part of multiple championship teams and compete at the highest level of NCAA rowing.

My athletic accomplishments include:

- Three-time NCAA Division I Team National Champion (2021, 2022, 2024)

- Two-time NCAA Individual Boat National Champion (2023, 2024)

- Four-time Big 12 Champion (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024)

- Five-year Division I Rowing athlete at the University of Texas at Austin

Beyond my own athletic career, I have enjoyed giving back to the sport through coaching and mentorship. I have coached middle school, high school, and masters rowers, while also supporting teammates and fellow athletes through goal setting, challenges, and the mental side of performance.

These experiences have shaped my approach as a mental performance coach. I understand the pressures athletes face because I have lived them, and I aim to help athletes build the confidence, resilience, and habits needed to pursue their goals while continuing to enjoy the process.

The best coach I ever had was someone who truly understood me as an individual.

They listened before they coached. They paid attention to what motivated me, what challenged me, and what helped me perform at my best. They understood when to push me, when to support me, and how to bring out the best version of myself.

Most importantly, they earned my trust.

I am not a therapist, psychologist, or mental health provider. My role as a mental performance coach is to help athletes develop skills related to confidence, focus, resilience, preparation, goal setting, and performing under pressure.

A large part of athletics is mental. Whether an athlete competes individually or as part of a team, they have to navigate expectations, mistakes, setbacks, pressure, and their own internal dialogue. Sometimes athletes need guidance in understanding their thoughts, building confidence, or finding strategies to approach challenges in a healthier and more productive way.

My coaching is focused on helping athletes develop awareness, practical tools, and habits that support their performance and growth. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace professional mental health care.

If an athlete is experiencing mental health concerns or needs support beyond the scope of performance coaching, I encourage them and their families to seek help from a licensed mental health professional.

My goal is to provide a supportive environment where athletes feel heard, understood, and equipped with tools they can use in sport, school, and life.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

  • Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.
