From first finish lines to PRs; I'm here for every step!

Running has been one of the biggest parts of my life, and I'm passionate about helping others experience the confidence and joy that comes with reaching goals they once thought were out of reach. As a former Division I runner at the University of San Diego and a competitive marathoner with a personal best of 2:33, I've trained through everything from collegiate competition to World Marathon Majors. I coach athletes of all experience levels! From beginners training for their first 5K to experienced runners chasing personal records. My coaching focuses on creating personalized, sustainable training plans while building confidence, consistency, and a genuine love for the sport. Whether your goal is to finish your first race, qualify for Boston, or simply enjoy running more, I'll meet you where you are and help you get there.

About me

Running has been a central part of my life for nearly a two and a half decades. I competed collegiately at the University of San Diego specializing in the 1500/5k before transitioning to competitive road racing, where I've completed five marathons, including four Abbott World Marathon Majors. My marathon personal best is 2:33 and half marathon best is a 1:10.

I've consistently competed at a high level while balancing training with a full-time career. I competed with the Brooklyn Track Club while living in NYC prior to moving to the Philly suburbs where I now am a member of the Philadelphia Runner Track Club. I continue to race and train alongside some of the region's top runners.

My experiences as both a collegiate and competitive distance runner have taught me the value of consistency, resilience, and enjoying the process; lessons I'm passionate about sharing with athletes of all ages and abilities.

Every athlete has different goals, strengths, and areas for growth, which is why I tailor each session to the individual. Whether you're just getting started, preparing for your first race, or chasing a personal best, I'll create a plan that meets you where you are.

My coaching focuses on proper running mechanics, pacing, endurance, speed development, race strategy, and injury prevention while building confidence along the way. Most importantly, I want athletes to enjoy the process. When you understand the "why" behind your training and have someone supporting you every step of the way, improvement naturally follows.

Every session begins with a conversation about how you're feeling, what we're working toward, and what we hope to accomplish that day. We'll start with a dynamic warm-up and drills to reinforce proper running form before moving into the main workout, which may include speed work, endurance training, pacing practice, starts, or race-specific workouts depending on your goals.

Throughout the session, I'll provide real-time feedback, encouragement, and adjustments to help you improve while staying healthy. We always finish with a cool-down, stretching, and a recap of what went well, what to focus on next, and how today's work fits into your overall progress.

Competed in cross country and track at University of San Diego where I was also a team captain.

I have completed 4 of 6 of the Abbott World Marathon Majors (and 5 marathons total) all in under 3 hours with a personal best in the marathon of 2:33.

Half Marathon best is a 1:09.

Currently competing for the Philadelphia Runners Track Club.

The best coach I ever had was on of my great friend Coach Kate. She has been one of the most influential coaches in my running journey. She taught me that becoming a better runner isn't just about the miles and workouts; it's about finding balance and building a sustainable relationship with the sport and being consistent. She showed me how to balance the demands of everyday life with training, while still pursuing big goals and believing in myself. Her knowledge, positivity, and ability to truly connect with athletes make her an incredible coach, and the lessons she taught me continue to shape both the athlete and coach I am today.

Running has given me some of my closest friendships, greatest challenges, and most rewarding experiences, and I love sharing that with others. As a coach, I'm patient, positive, and committed to helping every athlete build confidence while reaching their goals.

I believe success looks different for everyone. For some athletes, it's earning a personal best or making a varsity team. For others, it's finishing their first race or simply gaining confidence in themselves. My goal is to create a supportive environment where athletes feel challenged, encouraged, and excited to keep improving. I want every athlete to leave our sessions feeling stronger; not just physically, but mentally as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

AU was created by former college and pro athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process + background check, so you can trust you're training with the best.
