Summary of Career and Accomplishments
Brought multiple first year throwers to State Championships. Coached many youth athletes to Nationals. Coached many athletes to big PRs in throws and in sprints/distance. Won a National Masters Title in the Discus and was a runner up in the Shotput in 2023.
Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
My High School Coach. He wanted me to come out to the track and field team. I wanted to be on the team. He had to call my mother practically every night to get me on the team because she wouldn't allow me on the team. It was that ability to see talent and be determined enough to make me a success. Ultimately making me the coach I am today.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
Constantly learning new things and never stuck on pushing one idea. Coaching is an adaptive approach. Not everyone learns the same way. I am a Certified Personal Trainer, USATF level 1 coach and a NYS Certified Track and Field Coach. I am constantly learning and taking classes myself to progress on my teachings. You should never stop learning!

How can you help someone improve their game?
First Learn them as an athlete and what they already know and are capable of. Then we break down and rebuild. Like baking a cake, before you can eat that sweet delicious goodness, you have to have the ingredients first.
What does a typical training session look like?
Warm up first to prevent injury. Then a few run throughs of your event to see where you are at and what your style is. Breakdown of your event and working on things to develop your skill in each part of your technique. You will learn multiple drills and details to help you advance in your own personal knowledge of your body and your technique. After all the drills and breakdown a return to full run throughs. (On an extended timeline more can be focused on). Each session is 1.5hr.
