Throughout my athletic journey, I learned that success isn't just about talent; it's about discipline, consistency, resilience, and having mentors who genuinely care about your growth. About Me:

My name is Brock, and I am passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field. As a former five-sport athlete in high school, I competed in football, basketball, baseball, track, and powerlifting before playing college football for five years at the University of Central Missouri.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with minors in Nutrition and Health Science and am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with the goal of becoming a Registered Dietitian. I also gained experience training athletes ranging from middle school to the professional level while interning at TopSpeed Strength & Conditioning.

As a coach, I strive to create a positive environment where athletes can build confidence, develop their skills, and establish habits that support long-term success in both sports and life.

How I can help you improve your game:

As a former collegiate linebacker, I can help defensive players improve their tackling technique, footwork, block shedding, pursuit angles, and overall football IQ. I focus on developing the fundamentals that translate directly to game performance, including proper stance, reading offensive keys, understanding defensive assignments, and playing with confidence and physicality. Whether you're a linebacker or another defensive player, my goal is to help you become a faster, smarter, and more disciplined athlete who can make an impact on every play.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

A typical training session with me is designed to be high energy, structured, and tailored to each athlete's age, position, and goals. We start with a dynamic warm up and movement preparation to improve mobility and reduce injury risk. From there, we focus on position specific skill development, emphasizing fundamentals such as tackling technique, footwork, block shedding, pursuit angles, change of direction, and reading offensive keys for defensive players.

Throughout the session, I provide individualized coaching and feedback to help athletes understand not only how to perform a skill correctly but also why it matters in game situations. We finish with competitive drills that simulate real game scenarios, helping athletes build confidence, improve decision making, and develop a competitive mindset. My goal is for every athlete to leave each session having improved their technique, football IQ, and overall love for the game.

The best coach I ever had was BJ Campbell, my Defensive Coordinator and Linebackers Coach at the University of Central Missouri. Coach Campbell challenged me to be better every single day; not just as a football player, but as a person. He pushed me physically to exceed what I thought I was capable of, mentally to develop toughness and resilience, and spiritually to build character and purpose beyond the game. His investment in my growth on and off the field shaped the athlete, coach, and person I am today. Because of the impact he had on my life, I strive to coach with the same passion, accountability, and genuine care for the athletes I work with, helping them develop not only as players but as young men and women prepared for success in all aspects of life.

Having been a five-sport athlete and a five-year collegiate football player, I understand the dedication, challenges, and sacrifices that come with pursuing athletic goals. I believe in creating a positive, encouraging, and disciplined environment where athletes can build confidence, strengthen their fundamentals, and develop a strong work ethic.

My approach emphasizes effort, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring that each athlete enjoys the process of learning and growing. I also value open communication with parents and strive to be a positive role model who prioritizes character, leadership, and long-term success both in sports and in life.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
