Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
Best Coach I ever had was my father. From day one he was my coach up until I started playing AAU and for school. He taught me hard work and commitment which stayed with me throughout my playing career along with my coaching career. He was my biggest fan but also biggest critic, which helped develop my game.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
I am dedicated to teaching kids, how to not only play the game but develop high basketball IQ. I try to teach qualities that relate to not only basketball but life itself. Being a Multi-sport athlete and coach has great benefits as cross training helps prevent injuries and gives different views on the game itself. Not only will your kid feel confident after training, but they will also feel accomplished and want to keep pushing themselves.

How can you help someone improve their game?
As a coach I can help an athlete improve their game by teaching them skills and giving pointers that will give them confidence to take their game to the next level. As a coach we will go over weaknesses that the athlete will work more on but also go over their strengths and continue to build on that. Playing and coaching in all levels of basketball most of my life everyone has a bad habit they have developed from learning the wrong way or never being showed the proper form. My goal is to correct these bad habits and turn that area of their game into a strength. The more time on the court practicing and learning the quicker an athlete's game will improve. My Motto is.. Just PLAY, PLAY, PLAY, Keep on playing.
What does a typical training session look like?
All training sessions will vary depending on the skill level of the athlete. First we will have a conversation and see what the parent and the athlete wants out of the session. From there we go over the basics of the game while we touch up on some rules as well. The basics include: Shooting Form, passing, rebounding, boxing out. After evaluating the athletes skill level in those categories I will have drills for the athlete to go through that will replicate in game situations. We want the athlete to be prepared for all circumstances during a real game. Throughout the session the drills may be recorded so the athlete and I can go back and look at how to improve technique's during the drill. This will also show the athlete how much they have improved over sessions.
