Guiding athletes through their performance arc, blending mechanics and mindset

I’ve played and coached from high school to pro ball, helping athletes build velocity, enhance pitch design, and train mental resilience with a proven track record of results.

About me

I’m a baseball pitching coach with a background that blends elite playing experience, formal business education, and certified training in mental performance.

On the field, I played at a high level as NJAC Co-Pitcher of the Year at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) and went on to pitch professionally in the Frontier League. Off the field, I hold an MBA from the University of Miami and I’m a Mental Performance Master (MPM) certified through Brian Cain’s program, giving me a foundation that goes beyond the mound, in both how I run my coaching business and how I train the mental side of the game.

Outside of coaching you’ll find me spending time with my wife, son, & 2 dogs. We enjoy spending time at the beach together!

I’ve played and coached the game from high school to pro ball. As NJAC Co-Pitcher of the Year at TCNJ and a former professional pitcher in the Frontier League, I’ve been in the moments my athletes are training for, and that experience shapes how I help them get better.

I help athletes build cleaner, more efficient mechanics through video analysis and a throwing program designed around their body, their goals, and where they’re actually at, not a generic plan pulled off a shelf. That means correcting movement patterns, building arm strength and resilience the right way, and developing velocity and pitch quality progressively, so athletes see real, sustainable improvement instead of quick fixes that break down.

I also help athletes train the mental side of their game. As a Mental Performance Master (MPM) certified through Brian Cain’s program, I work on identity, confidence, resilience, and repeatable habits, giving athletes the tools to execute under pressure instead of just talking about it.

At the core, I help athletes close the gap between what they’re capable of and what actually shows up in games, whether that’s through mechanics, mindset, or both.

Pitching

Every pitching session starts with video analysis, breaking down mechanics frame by frame to identify exactly what’s helping or hurting an athlete’s delivery. From there, I build a thorough, individualized throwing program tailored to that athlete’s goals, whether that’s velocity, command, or pitch development, with movement patterns reviewed closely at every step to make sure the delivery stays clean, efficient, and repeatable. It’s not a generic plan pulled off a shelf. It’s built around what your body and your game actually need.

Mindset and Process Coaching

Mindset sessions are built around developing a strong player identity, one rooted in who an athlete is beyond their stats or results. From there, we work on building repeatable habits and routines athletes can lean on when the pressure is highest, instilling real confidence through preparation rather than empty affirmations, and training resilience so setbacks become data instead of derailment. The goal is simple: an athlete who trusts their process and can execute it consistently, regardless of the situation.

Mental Performance Mastery (MPM) Certified Coach through Brian Cain

The best coach I ever had was an old travel ball coach who focused on growing us as people while teaching us what it takes to succeed in the game of baseball. Most importantly in sports, we are able to take lessons and apply it to how we live our life. The best coach I ever had was able to take the hardships, excitement, & grind of being an athlete and relate it to how it would help us grow as people. The lessons I learned still have an impact on me to this day.

I’ve played and coached the game from high school to pro ball, and I build my coaching around real athlete development, not one-size-fits-all programming.

On the mound, that means clean, efficient mechanics built on correct movement patterns, then progressively building arm strength, velocity, and pitch development at a pace that fits where each athlete is at. Off the mound, I’m a Mental Performance Master (MPM) certified through Brian Cain’s program, so I train the mindset and process work that lets athletes actually execute what they’ve developed under pressure.

Whether you’re chasing more velocity, sharper pitches, or the mental edge to perform when it counts, I coach the full development arc, mechanics, mindset, and results.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

  • Good Fit Guarantee — If your first lesson isn't the right fit, we'll move your lesson credit to a new coach. No hassle.

  • Easy rescheduling — Cancel or reschedule up to 4 hours before a lesson, no questions asked.

  • Coach no-shows — You'll be fully credited and we'll help you find a replacement.

AU was created by former college and pro athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process + background check, so you can trust you're training with the best.
