I’m a sprint coach with Division I experience and current collegiate coaching background, focused on developing athletes the right way. I prioritize mechanics, speed development, and structured progression so athletes don’t just improve—they understand how and why they’re improving. My goal is to build confident, disciplined competitors who can perform at a high level consistently.

I’m Coach Bradley—most athletes know me as Coach B. I’m a sprint coach specializing in the 100m–400m, with a background as a Division I athlete at Arkansas State University. Competing at that level taught me what high-performance training actually looks like—structure, discipline, and attention to detail.
Before that, I developed as a multi-event sprinter at Maumelle High School, so I understand the full journey—from learning the basics to competing at a high level.
Now, I’m actively coaching at Hendrix College, working with sprinters in the 100m–400m and helping athletes improve their mechanics, speed, and race execution. I’m not removed from the sport—I’m in it, learning and applying what works in real time.
My approach is straightforward: build the athlete first, and performance follows. That means focusing on proper mechanics, smart progression, and consistent work. I don’t believe in shortcuts—just proven training, clear communication, and holding athletes to a high standard.
Along with my coaching experience, I have a background in exercise science and performance training, which allows me to connect sprint work with strength, recovery, and injury prevention.
If you’re serious about improving and want a coach who’s going to be honest, detailed, and invested in your development, I’m the right fit.
I don’t just give workouts—I build better athletes.
First thing I focus on is mechanics. If your form is off, you’re leaving speed on the table every step. I break down acceleration, max velocity, and transition so you move efficiently and stop wasting energy.
Then we build real speed. Not just conditioning disguised as speed work. You’ll train:
* Acceleration (first 30–40m)
* Top-end speed (max velocity work)
* Speed endurance (what actually separates 200m/400m athletes)
Everything is structured so it carries over to races—not just practice.
I also program progression the right way. A lot of athletes plateau because they’re doing random hard workouts. I make sure your training builds week to week, phase to phase, so you peak when it matters.
Strength and recovery matter too. With my background in performance training, I help you:
* Get stronger without slowing down
* Stay healthy and avoid common sprint injuries
* Recover properly so you can actually improve
Most importantly, I coach the details:
* Race strategy
* Pacing (especially for 200/400)
* Mental approach and confidence
You’ll always know what you need to fix and how to fix it.
If you’re consistent, you’re going to see:
* Faster times
* Better race execution
* More confidence every time you step on the track
That’s the goal—real improvement, not guesswork.
Every session is structured with a purpose. No random workouts, no wasted reps—everything builds toward getting you faster.
⸻
1. Dynamic Warm-Up & Activation (10–15 min)
We start by getting your body ready to move the right way:
* Mobility (hips, ankles, hamstrings)
* Sprint drills (A-skips, B-skips, straight-leg bounds)
* Light accelerations
This isn’t just to “warm up”—it sets the tone for proper mechanics.
⸻
2. Sprint Mechanics / Skill Work (10–15 min)
This is where we clean things up:
* Acceleration positions (shin angles, posture)
* Max velocity mechanics (upright running, relaxation)
* Arm action and rhythm
You’ll get real-time feedback so you know exactly what to adjust.
⸻
3. Main Sprint Work (20–30 min)
This is the focus of the day, depending on your event and phase:
Acceleration Day
* Short sprints (10–40m)
* Full recovery between reps
Max Velocity Day
* Fly runs (build-up + sprint zone)
* Focus on top-end speed and relaxation
Speed Endurance Day
* 120m–300m reps
* Controlled rest to build race-specific fitness
Everything is intentional—quality over quantity.
⸻
4. Strength / Power Work (Optional add-on or separate lift)
Depending on the setup:
* Plyometrics (bounds, hops)
* Sprint-specific lifts (squats, RDLs, step-ups)
* Core work
The goal is to support your speed, not fatigue you.
⸻
5. Cooldown & Recovery (10–15 min)
We finish by bringing your body back down:
* Light jog or walk
* Stretching
* Quick recap of what you did well and what to fix
⸻
What Makes My Sessions Different
* You’ll know why you’re doing everything
* You’ll get coaching, not just a workout
* We focus on details that translate to races
* Every session builds on the last
If you show up ready to work, you’re going to leave better than you came in.
Bradley “Coach B” Miller is a sprint coach and former Division I athlete with a strong foundation in both performance and athlete development. I competed at Arkansas State University from 2021–2023, specializing in the 200m and 400m, and contributed to three conference championship teams. My experience training in a high-level collegiate system shaped my understanding of speed development, race execution, and structured programming.
Before competing at the Division I level, I developed as a multi-event sprinter at Maumelle High School (2016–2018), gaining experience across the 100m, 200m, 400m, and relays. That background gave me the ability to work with athletes at all stages—from beginners to advanced competitors.
I began my coaching journey at Arkansas State University (2020–2021) as a volunteer coach, gaining early exposure to collegiate training systems and athlete management. I currently serve as a volunteer coach at Hendrix College, where he works with sprinters in the 100m–400m and contributes to practice planning, technical development, and performance progression.
In addition to my track background, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science (2022) and a Master’s degree in Sports Administration (2023), along with completing the USATF Developmental Coach Program and USATF Level 1 Program. I am eligible for USATF Level 2 Certification, further demonstrating my commitment to professional growth.

I bring a combination of high-level competitive experience, current coaching involvement, and formal education, allowing to develop athletes with a clear, structured, and performance-driven approach.
The best coach I ever had was my high school coach, Nick Taylor.
He played a huge role in my development—not just as an athlete, but as a person. He helped push me to a level where I was able to go on and compete at Arkansas State University, but more importantly, he taught me discipline, accountability, and how to carry myself the right way.
He didn’t just coach track—he coached life.
That’s something I carry with me now. My goal isn’t just to help athletes run faster. It’s to give them the same kind of structure, confidence, and mindset that translates beyond the track—into school, competition, and life in general.
I’m an athlete’s coach because I’ve been where they are.
I understand what it takes to improve, what it feels like to struggle, and what it means to finally break through. My job is to help each athlete get the most out of the sport based on their goals—whether that’s making a team, earning a scholarship, or just becoming more confident.
I’ve had my time competing, including at Arkansas State University. Now, this is my opportunity to give back and help the next generation reach their full potential.
I’m invested in the athlete, not just the results.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place.
