Get to know Coach Bradley

About Me:

I played Football, ran track, played basketball and later after high school played golf. I made the State meet in the 100 meters and I was recruited by about 14 major colleges to play football. I was a running back for Bishop Carroll and ran a 4.2 -40 yard dash. I won the City League KHSAA rushing title my junior year and was an All City and All State selection my junior year. My senior year I was All City and All State and was an All USA Today pick in the country. I played at the same time Barry Sanders played for North High School. We were in competition for the KHSAA Rushing Title. I beat Barry Sanders out with 1,450 yards and Barry had 1,417 yards. I was set to play at Garden City Community College to get my grades up first and then play for Arizona State. I loved playing Football and would not trade it for the world it taught me so many life lessons and discipline. I then went on to coach at St. Francis and the Wolverines coaching my boys teams. I then went to Maize High School under Coach Wilbert and coached the Freshman team as an assistant, coaching backs and receivers and defensive backs. Then I went to Bishop Carroll to coach under Alan Schuckman and coached the Freshman team as an assistant, coaching the running backs and secondary. I coached varsity games and would watch for tendencies on defense and making adjustments and helping out with the running backs. I loved every minute of it. I was a retention coach I call myself wanting to play every player, which the head Coach did not always want to do I would sneak in everybody in the Freshman games because I believe all kids should play in the games if they work hard in practice and have a good attitude.

How I can help you improve your game:

I will help teach them first as an Athlete and as a Person, to be a stand up student athlete. I will teach them the foundations of the sport. The fundamentals are the most important part of every sport and then to progress into positive mental beliefs of seeing themselves scoring a touchdown or making the winning shot in basketball or golf!

I will do 1 on 1 training teaching them the philosophy of their sport. And the key of working harder than your opponent.

*Teamwork before individual glory. ...

*Respect for all participants.

*Character development is key. ...

*Empowering self-confident athletes. ...

*Personal bests over competition. ...

*Instilling a passion for the sport...

What a typical training session looks like with me:

I am immediately available. I’d suggest us planning around an hour to an hour and a half session where we will stretch and do calisthenics, then see what training aids or balls etc... we need for the next session.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I coached at St. Francis Catholic School for 4 seasons coaching my boys. I then coached the Wolverines and went on to coach at Maize High School as an assistant Freshman coach under Coach Wilbert and Coach Wolgast for 3 years. I left there and went to Bishop Carroll Catholic High School as an assistant Freshman coach under coach Laubhan and Alan Schuckman for 4 years. I was also on the sideline at all varsity games coaching the running backs and looking at defensive tendencies in the secondary from the opposing team. I coached track at St. Francis 2 seasons coaching the sprinters in the 100 meters and 220 and the relays. I coached Basketball at Goddard 1 year as an assistant. I love the game of Football and Athletics overall and understand how it prepares us for life!

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach I ever had was coach Kilmer in Junior High Football at Goddard, he was a positive role model and positive spark in my life at that time. Also Coach Hawk in Junior High Basketball he was a great inspiration and was like a dad to me, he believed in me which was a great confidence boost which I carry forward with the kids I coach. He told me I could dunk the ball which I did as a Freshman it was a volleyball my hand wasn't big enough then to palm a Basketball!

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I will take all my student athletes very serious and make an impact in their lives not only as an Athlete but as a Person, to be a stand up student athlete and be positive to others and treat them with respect and gratitude. To be polite and considerate of others feelings not bullying other kids. I will teach them the foundations of the sport. The fundamentals are most important then to progress into special mental belief of seeing themselves scoring a touchdown or making the winning shot in basketball or golf! And progress into 1 on 1 training for speed, agility and strength, which in return they will become a better athlete!

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.

Our coaches are open to helping athletes of any age and skill level. Please message your desired coach to ensure their skillset fits your needs.

AU was created by former collegiate and professional athletes. We understand the benefits of training with a private coach. It develops discipline, boosts confidence, and provides an undeniable advantage - whether you are just learning the game or looking to earn a college scholarship. All AU coaches are required to pass a thorough onboarding process and we proudly showcase a 10% acceptance rate, so you can trust you're training with the best.

At the end of the day, our mission is to provide athletes with better opportunities to succeed through coaching. You won't find a platform, and group of dedicated specialists, more excited to help you achieve your athletic goals!
