Building confident, prepared athletes on and off the field.
I’ve spent more than a decade around professional sports, learning from professional athletes, coaches, mentors, and thousands of interviews about what helps young people succeed. I work with athletes on confidence, preparation, leadership, handling pressure, responding to failure, and becoming stronger teammates and people. I also understand what it feels like when sports stop being fun, having nearly walked away from baseball myself when I was in high school. My goal is to give athletes practical tools they can use in competition, at school, and throughout life.
Baseball is as much mental as it is physical. I help athletes improve the areas of their game that can sometimes be overlooked in traditional lessons: preparation, confidence, mindset, leadership, handling failure, baseball IQ, communication, and becoming a better teammate.
Having spent years around professional baseball players and coaches, I can help young athletes understand how successful players prepare, respond to mistakes, carry themselves around a team, and approach the game mentally.
Every athlete is different, so our work will be based on what that individual needs most. Whether an athlete struggles with confidence, puts too much pressure on themselves, wants to become a stronger leader, or simply wants to better understand how successful players think and prepare, my goal is to give them practical tools they can immediately apply.
Each session begins with a conversation about where the athlete currently is, what they are experiencing in baseball/sports, and what they want to improve.
From there, we focus on specific areas such as confidence, preparation, routines, handling mistakes, leadership, baseball IQ, communication with coaches and teammates, goal setting, or navigating pressure.
I use real stories and lessons I have learned from professional baseball players and coaches, along with practical exercises and situations the athlete is currently facing. I want athletes to leave each session with more than motivation. They should leave with specific tools and actions they can use at their next practice or game.
Sessions are conversational and interactive. My goal is to create an environment where athletes feel comfortable asking questions, being honest about what they are struggling with, and developing habits that will help them both in baseball and in life.
I have spent more than a decade working in and around professional baseball. My career began as a professional baseball batboy when I was 11 years old, and over the years I expanded into media, digital content, player interviews, and other roles within professional baseball.
I graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in Sports Communication and have interviewed a couple thousand MLB players and professional athletes throughout my career. A major focus of my interviews has been asking successful players what advice and lessons they would give to young athletes.
I am also an author and speaker who works with elementary, middle, and high school students through programs centered around leadership, confidence, preparation, kindness, responding to adversity, and standing out for the right reasons.
My work has been featured by USA Today and FOX 5 New York, and I received a proclamation from the Mayor of Yonkers, New York, recognizing my work and impact with young athletes.
Most importantly, my career has allowed me to spend years learning directly from professional players, coaches, mentors, and leaders, and I enjoy passing those lessons on to the next generation.
One of the most influential coaches and mentors in my life has been Dr. Rob Gilbert, a longtime sports psychology professor at Montclair State University.
Dr. Gilbert taught me that success in sports is about far more than physical talent. Your attitude, preparation, response to adversity, self-talk, confidence, and ability to control what you can control can dramatically affect performance.
Many of the principles I teach young athletes today were influenced by what I learned from Dr. Gilbert, combined with lessons I have picked up from professional baseball coaches and MLB players throughout my career.
One of the most important things I learned is that athletes cannot always control what happens to them, but they can control how they prepare and how they respond. That is a principle I want every athlete I work with to understand.
I care about developing the person as much as developing the athlete.
I also understand what it feels like when baseball stops being fun. When I was younger, I nearly quit because I wasn't enjoying the game anymore. That experience helps me relate to athletes dealing with pressure, frustration, confidence issues, or burnout.
My goal is to listen, challenge, and encourage athletes while helping them become more confident, prepared, and resilient. I want them to leave with tools that help them not only in sports, but in life.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.
Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.
Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!
We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.
Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
