Who is the best coach you ever had and why?
My current college coach, Taylor Dyer, is the best field hockey coach I have had. Coach Dyer has shown me what it takes to lead with drive, passion, and determination. Her leadership has grown my game IQ, mental toughness, and skill. I deeply admire how she cares for her players and has built a program where athletes are a part of something bigger than themselves. Being a player for Coach Dyer means being a student of the game. In my four years at Gettysburg College, she has taught me the kind of person, athlete, and coach I want to be.
What should athletes and parents know about you?
Parents can trust that I prioritize children's safety, needs, and development within athletic environments. I strive to create a positive impact on and off the field as I help athletes grow their skills, work ethic, and love for the game. As a current senior in college, I plan to attain a Master's Degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology and plan to work as a mental skills and or field hockey coach.

How can you help someone improve their game?
My athletes will improve their field hockey skills through game understanding, using a growth mindset, and building a strong foundation of fundamental skills. I look to meet individuals where they are at and build on what they know by fine-tuning skills and leading them to more complex skills with time, comfortability, and confidence.
What does a typical training session look like?
Beginning with basic skills that lead to small drills and bigger movements, I teach field hockey skills in a style that prepares an athlete to perform in gameplay. Training sessions will focus on shooting techniques, defense, stick skills and game management understanding.
