Get to know Coach Alexandra

About Me:

I worked with athletes at the high school level to help them succeed in their sports and help with them getting collegiate offers. I worked with many athletes who breaked their school records in speed.

At the collegiate level, I have worked with athletes to find their performance deficits and fix them to make them an overall better athlete. I also have worked with many athletes who have gone overseas to play for semi-professional and national teams with soccer.

How I can help you improve your game:

I help individuals with their game, by first taking assessments to find their weakness. I used many performance assessments to see what the athletes are struggling with, then create plans to fix and improve the deficits. After working on the fundamentals of speed and agility, we then take that to sport specific training to make sure every athlete is getting a plan tailored to them. Combine this with a positive and encouraging environment, and it boosts confidence in athletes being able to compete at game time.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Training sessions will be individualized, but all training sessions will start with performance assessment testing and setting goals.

Speed and Agility Drills

Sport Specific Application

Strength Training

Cool Down

Athletes can expect to be re-assessed often to track performance and see improvement overtime.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I am a full time Athletic Trainer. My daily job is to evaluate athletes and make rehab plans and sport specific training to return them to sport better than when they left. I worked at a high school for 2 years, working with athletes in grades 6-12. I worked alongside the strength and conditioning coach to create workouts and help with performance testing and how to correct the deficits from testing. I have worked in the college setting now for 1 year, working with several national championship teams at the University of Tampa. I perform injury assessments and sports performance assessments daily to ensure my athletes are competition ready and the best they can be.

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach I have ever had was my dance teacher Mrs. Kristine, she was always pushing me to not only be a better dancer, but also a better person and to always strive for greatness in anything I ever did. She never expected anything less than 100% from me and that is something that I have carried on with my life and pushed onto my athletes that I work with now.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I currently work at the University of Tampa in the sports medicine department. I received my degree from UTampa in athletic training, then went on to get my masters in sports neurology. I am currently working on my masters in Sports science and nutrition. I have worked with athletes on many levels, and I like to use data to track progress in athletes. I dedicate a lot of time, and effort to my athletes to help them succeed and want to make them better individuals in and outside of sport.

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
