Fundamentals first. Buckets follow.

I’m a basketball trainer who focuses on helping players elevate their 1v1 game by mastering the fundamentals. My approach is simple but effective: strip the game down to what actually works—solid footwork, ball control, body balance, shot mechanics, correct timing, defensive angles, and game-ready decision-making. This isn’t about flashy highlights or overcomplicated drills. It’s about building real, transferable skills that show up every time you step on the court. I work with players who are hungry to improve—whether you’re just starting out or looking to tighten up your isolation game. Every session is intentional, high-energy, and tailored to develop confidence, control, and consistency. In a 1v1 setting, there’s no hiding. You either have the skill—or you get exposed. My goal is to make sure you’re always ready, always sharp, and always a problem for any defender in front of you. If you’re serious about leveling up your individual game through focused, fundamentals-based training—let’s get to work. No fluff. Just fundamentals. All buckets.

About Me:

I’m 19 years old, a recent high school graduate, and currently a member of the Olympic College women’s basketball team. I’ve had the opportunity to train with some of the best in the game, including Ashley Corral, Martin Anderson, Ashton Khan, and Avery Peterson. Their influence has shaped the way I play—and now, the way I teach.

I’m passionate about giving back to the game, especially by working with the next generation of hoopers. I believe the difference between a good player and a great one comes down to fundamentals. A strong foundation in footwork, ball handling, and game IQ sets athletes apart, and that’s exactly where I focus my training.

Basketball is just as mental as it is physical, and my goal is to help young athletes feel confident, prepared, and in control every time they step on the court. Whether it’s building skills or mindset, I’m here to help them grow as both players and people.

How I can help you improve your game:

I focus on building confident, well-rounded players by strengthening the fundamentals that actually translate to game situations—like footwork, ball control, finishing, shooting form, and defensive instincts. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen your 1v1 skills, I’ll meet you where you’re at and push you to grow with high-energy, focused training sessions.

Every drill has a purpose, and everything we work on connects back to real-game decisions. I’ll also help you develop the mental side of the game—learning how to play with poise, read your defender, and stay confident under pressure.

My goal is to help you feel more comfortable, more skilled, and more in control every time you step on the court.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

1. Start off with stretching ALWAYS.

2. Followed by ball handling on the move, both left and right hands, focusing on footwork and advancing the ball forward.

3. Next is soft touch around the rim, starting off with form shots and then getting into shots of the dribble still close to the rim.

4. After that, we’ll go into layups and attacking the rim down hill with different types of footwork.

5. Then we will focus on midrange shots and free throws, depending where the player is at, three pointers as well.

Every training session will be tailored to the specific player and will meet them where they are at.

Career summary and accomplishments:

- Current collegiate athlete on the Olympic College Women’s Basketball Team - Trained under elite-level coaches including Ashley Corral, Martin Anderson, Ashton Khan, and Avery Peterson - Coached and trained the SKYAA Spring Rec Team, gaining hands-on experience working with youth athletes on skill development and team fundamentals - Former high school varsity standout known for work ethic, strong fundamentals, leadership, and a competitive edge

Best coach I ever had:

The best coach I ever had was Avery Peterson. While he didn’t coach me on a team, he trained me individually—and at a time when I really needed it. I was struggling with difficult high school coaches, facing favoritism and other challenges that almost made me lose my love for the game. Avery came into my life at the perfect time and helped me gain my confidence back by simply believing in me.

What set Avery apart was his attention to detail and the way he studied how I move as a player. His patience and ability to break things down made a huge difference—his training actually translated into game scenarios. The biggest thing he taught me is that the smallest details matter most. “Slow is fast”—he taught me to be patient, to not rush, and to stay poised in everything I do on the court. That mindset changed not only how I play, but also how I now approach training others.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I’m a dedicated trainer who truly cares about the development of each athlete I work with—not just as a player, but as a person. I’ve been in their shoes. I’ve dealt with the highs and lows of the game, from tough coaching experiences to rebuilding my confidence, and that’s shaped the way I train today.

I take a fundamentals-first approach because I believe the little things make the biggest difference. Every session is intentional, focused, and built around helping athletes become more confident, skilled, and game-ready. Whether they’re brand new to the sport or already have some experience, I meet athletes where they’re at and push them to grow—physically and mentally.

Parents can trust that their child is in a positive, encouraging environment where work ethic, respect, and discipline are emphasized. My goal is to build strong, smart, well-rounded players who love the game and are prepared for whatever comes next.

Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.

The AU guarantee (refund policy) has you covered! If you determine the coach isn't a good fit after your first lesson, let us know within 24 hours and you're eligible for a refund. We will also be happy to recommend another coach - be sure to contact our support team.
