About Me:

Growing up in Ballston Spa and playing lacrosse through the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District helped shape who I am as both an athlete and a person. After continuing my academic and lacrosse career at a small Division III college in Massachusetts, I found a new passion for box lacrosse after joining the Paper City Oaks in 2025. Through years of playing and learning from great coaches and teammates, I’ve developed a strong understanding of the game and a passion for helping others improve.

How I can help you improve your game:

My training focuses on advanced stick skills, shooting, and especially footwork, which I believe is the foundation for creating opportunities on the field. I emphasize creativity, confidence, and smart decision-making while teaching players how to improve dodging, shooting from different angles, faking, and overall offensive awareness. Sessions include wall ball, shooting drills, footwork training, crease finishing, and game-like situations designed to help players become more skilled, creative, and confident lacrosse players.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Each session starts with stretching and wall ball before moving into step down shooting, dodging, footwork, on the run shooting, crease finishing, and pass and shoot drills from multiple angles. I focus on helping players become comfortable in unpredictable game situations so they can rely on creativity, instincts, and smart lacrosse when plays break down in real time. Each session will typically be around 60 minutes.

Career summary and accomplishments:

Four year Division III lacrosse player with experience competing at a high collegiate level. Accomplishments include Team MVP, multiple conference Player of the Week honors, two time All Conference Second Team selection, and recognition on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Team of the Week on April 26. Finished collegiate career with 118 career points, including a standout senior season with 53 points on 42 goals and 11 assists.

Best coach I ever had:

Multiple coaches have had a major impact on my life and development as a player.

My high school coach, Coach Townsend, embodied tough love coaching and pushed me harder than anyone else. Playing for him was demanding and intense, but he helped shape me into the player I am today and instilled a level of toughness and discipline that still stays with me.

At the collegiate level, Coach Pezenowski became more than just a coach to me. He always had my best interests at heart, supported me through every stage of my career, and became a true mentor both on and off the field. He will always be someone I look up to and consider one of the biggest influences in my lacrosse journey.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

I wasn't a star growing up. I worked hard and put a lot of effort into lacrosse in middle and high school. However it wasn't enough to earn a starting position or even a whole lot of playing time on a very competitive team like Burnt Hills. That only fueled me, it put a chip on my shoulder that made me work harder and harder to become the player I am, and I'm still not finished. You can always get better.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
