About Me:

I'm a former Division I soccer player at Colorado College and retired professional triathlete. Soccer has been a huge part of my life since I was young. I grew up in a competitive environment that shaped how I see the game and what's possible for athletes who commit to their development.

I've been coaching on and off for 12 years because I genuinely love it, there's nothing better than watching a player click with a skill they've been working on and be able to enjoy the game more come game time. I lace up my boots every session, train alongside my athletes, and show up with a plan built around each individual.

When I'm not on the field, I'm always chasing my next challenge. I bring that same mentality to every player I work with: hard work, attention to detail, and a love for the game above everything else.

How I can help you improve your game:

I focus on the details (with a technical focus) that separate good players from great ones - first touch, movement off the ball, finishing, and decision-making under pressure. This also includes getting in the habit of a proper warm-up. Every session starts with understanding where you are, where you want to go, and what you have to give that day - and we build from there. I'll train alongside you, push you, and make sure every minute on the field has a purpose.

What a typical training session looks like with me:

Every session starts with a dynamic warmup built around sport-specific movements to properly prepare the body. From there, we move into ball work, quick touches, toe taps, juggling, and volleys to sharpen touch and get comfortable on the ball before the real work begins.

The heart of the session is progressive technical work: cone patterns that engage all sides of the foot and get the brain working, followed by passing or dribbling sequences layered with agility and decision-making. I intentionally structure sessions so the hardest technical work comes when legs are fatigued. Training under fatigue prepares you physically and mentally for when games get hard, and it's where real improvement happens.

Every session ends with a cooldown, and every session is built around you specifically - your level, your goals, and where you want to be.

Career summary and accomplishments:

I played four years of Division I soccer on scholarship at Colorado College, where I grew up competing alongside athletes who went on to play professionally and represent national teams. After college, I pursued professional triathlon and running, competing at the highest level before recently winning the 2025 Denver Colfax Marathon.

Highlights:

• 4-year Division I scholarship athlete, Colorado College

• NSCA Strength & Conditioning All-American (2020)

• MVP Award (2016)

• Winner, 2025 Denver Marathon

• Winner, Ironman 70.3 Boulder AG

• 12 years of coaching experience specializing in technical skill development

• Worked with athletes at all levels from youth beginners to college-bound players

Best coach I ever had:

My college strength and conditioning coach Kevin was the best coach I ever had. What set him apart wasn't just his knowledge — it was how he understood us as people. He never expected perfection, but he always expected your best for that day. On days when you had 100%, he wanted 100%. On days when you had 60%, he wanted 60% — and that was enough.

He created an environment where athletes felt strong, empowered, and genuinely supported both inside and outside the weight room. He celebrated the wins loudly and treated mistakes as something to learn from, never something to be ashamed of.

I carry that philosophy into every session I coach. I meet athletes where they are, focus on the wins, and build confidence alongside skill. I want every player to leave the field feeling better about themselves than when they arrived.

What athletes and parents should know about me:

A few things worth knowing before we work together: I show up prepared every single session, you'll never get a coach who's winging it. I bring a personalized plan, my boots, and my full energy regardless of the day.

I coach the whole athlete, not just the skill. I understand what it feels like to compete at a high level, to have bad days, and to push through when it's hard. I'll never shame a mistake, we learn from them and move on. I celebrate progress loudly and keep the environment positive and fun, because athletes perform best when they feel confident.

For parents: I communicate openly, I'm reliable, and I treat your child with the same care and investment I would want from a coach. My goal is simple - to make your athlete better on the field and more confident off it.

I'm not just here to run drills. I genuinely love this game and love coaching, and I think you'll feel that from the first session.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re looking to message a coach for the first time, go to their profile and click “Send a Message”. A type box will show, where you can enter and send your message. To follow up with a coach you've already contacted, log into your account and find the 'Inbox' tab. You'll see your message history and be able to send another note.

Once you find a coach that fits your needs, go to their profile, select the package you'd like to purchase, and click 'Book Lessons'. Here, you can reserve your desired number of lessons along with the number of athletes who will be training. After sessions are booked, coordinate the dates/times for each session on your calendar - using the calendar is important since this is how your coach will get paid.

Paying AU coaches via cash, Venmo, or any 3rd party is strictly prohibited. AU coaches know this, but their partnership with us is to split all bookings 80/20 - so coaches keep 80%. We use our 20% to help them find clients & manage their business. Without the split, we wouldn't be able to help our coaches & community thrive!

We integrate with Stripe - the largest & most secure payment processor in the US - to facilitate bookings. Paying online is required, and it simplifies the process for our coaches since it helps track their schedule & earnings in one place. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our support team.

Each coach typically has at least one preferred training location. You can see the location(s) by going to your coach's profile and finding the 'Training Locations' section. If a coach doesn't have locations listed here, you can message the coach to see where they train. Some coaches are willing to travel to clients for lessons, or even meet halfway.

Each coach sets their own schedule for training. You can see a coach's general availability by going to their profile and finding the 'Availability' section - it will list the days and times. If a coach doesn't post their availability, or if your preferred coach doesn't have your desired times available but you want to double check, message them to see if they can work with your schedule.
